Bravesong's attention was currently fixed on the most terrifying creature in all of ThunderClan...A tiny (BIG!), brown (HAIRY!) spider! The tom's eyes widened with dramatic flare, tail twitching and puffing out as if a rival Clan had infultrated camp.
"Oh no...It found me!" The black and white tom slowly backed away on his forepaws a bit clumsily despite the initiative, hoping to put on a show for his kits. The spider continued its march, oblivious to the nest of cats it was approaching to escape the greenleaf heat outside.
Bravesong gasped. "It's chasing me!" With a playful yelp, he scooted backward across the moss, making an exaggerated effort to escape while never taking his eye off the harmless (DANGEROUS!) creature.
"Quick! I need brave kits...!" He ducked behind a tuft of nursery moss and peeked out with his one eye.

Orchidflame has noticed the spider before Bravesong has put on the little game, and this time, she leaned into it as Bravesong nearly backed up into her. She chuckled softly. "Oh no! The big hairy spider is about to get your dad, kits! He needs big strong toms to save him!" She encouraged, giving the flightiest of her sons, Weaselkit, a few comforting licks and whispered "You're okay to go, I'll be here to make sure you're not hurt." softly into the ginger tomkit's ear.
Orchidflame then shuffled a little closer to Bravesong's side, fake shivering in fear. "Such a big spider, Bravesong! Do you think these two strong kits will be able to handle it?" she asked, a false frightened tone being put on for the kits as the tiny brown creature crawled around the nursery. It was frankly harmless, that why it was perfect for kit-play.
While the kits would be distracted with the spider, Orchidflame leaned into Bravesong and gave his cheek fur an affectionate lick. "They're perfect." she whisper to him in a tone that her kits wouldn't be able to hear, then swiftly went back to the frightened queen in distress. For her kits

Weaselkit had just been existing in the nursery near Orchidflame, attempting to practice cleaning his fur, when he suddenly heard Bravesong shouting for... help? He moved his multicolored gaze from his own pelt out into the nursery and spotted the creature his father was worried about. It was a pretty big spider.. But Bravesong and Orchidflame were worried, and he didn't want them to be scared. So he had to help them with the spider!
He appreciated his mother's words of encouragement, briefly leaning into her fur and offering a soft purr in acknowledgement before starting to stand up. "I'll get it!" He squeaked out before looking around the nursery, trying to pinpoint the location of the ferocious creature. He could handle it, probably.. Hopefully..
He somewhat clumsily jumped after the spider, trying to mimic what he'd imagined a hunter's crouch to be like. His goal was to go in the direction of the spider and catch it, but on this first attempt he missed by a long shot and the spider moved before he could even get close to his goal, so he stood up and began to try again.
