Glowkit

A fawn Abyssinian kit with a brown stripe down their muzzle

They are a fawn Abyssinian cat, and as such have golden fur that if the sun hits it right almost looks like it is glowing. On their chest is a sideways moon shaped whitespot. Their eyes are also golden. Upon their first appearance in Shadowclan they would have a dark brown stripe above their nose, stopping right before their white spot, however as Cheetah’s Flight ends the mark will slowly begin to fade and that area will match the rest of their fur.

Potentially due to spending most of their young life on the move, Glowkit is very mobile. They seem to have a lot of energy, even for a kit. They are constantly moving around and have trouble sitting still. It isn’t in a cheerful way, moreso in a way that their body has more energy than their mind can handle. They also feel rather unsteady, out of place in the clan that has taken them in. Glowkit latches onto the vague memories of their homeland, and the less vague memories of the missionary. They resent the other cats in their clan, they belong, they were born here, this can cause them to be a bit grumpy towards those who they don’t know. They feel out of place, this feeling presenting in their very sense of self. They don’t identify with the binary of she-cat and tom, instead feeling like all of the above yet neither. They also lack belief in Starclan, thinking that if Starclan truly did exist why wouldn’t they tell them where they came from? They tend to be very free-spirited as well, doing what they do and not all that worried about disobeying those around them.

They only have vague memories of their birthplace, their mom also had a brown stripe on her nose but they don’t remember anything else from his brief time spent there. Their first real memory is running, running across land being carried by a cat. For weeks they ran, sometimes they’d run sometimes when their legs got tired they’d be carried. The cat taking him was colored like the flowers they saw on their journey and called the missionary. They were the supplicant? Then after a lifetime of traveling the missionary left them, in a territory where the ground squished underneath their paws, and all they knew how to do was to keep traveling forward.
