Twilightkit

A longhaired seal and white smoke mink tom-kit with curly ears and cornflower blue eyes

While a newborn kitten, Twilightkit is a little brown clump of long fur the length and texture being a reminder of his mother, Nightwhisper, despite his fur being mostly brown, there is a white marking across his face that begin at the center of his forehead and travels down to his throat in an almost diamond-like shape from a distance.

As he grows, he will develop darker brown points at his tail, face, ears and paws. His paws being covered by inconsistent, asymmetrical patches of white that breaks up the darkness of his paws. However, the darker points of his body seem to blend out with a silvery undertone, displaying to those who look close enough to look a little smokey. And whilst growing, his kitten-blue eyes will deepen into a dark, cornflower blue that is identical to his sire, Duskmantle’s eyes.

While Twilightkit’s body as a small kitten is rather round and soft-looking, he will grow into himself and become more muscle than kitten-fat. Paired with the future muscle, curled ears rest atop of the little tom’s head, linking back to his grandsire, Murksong, who resides in the elders’ den at the time of his birth. Overall, Twilightkit is a longhaired, seal smoke mink tom with curled ears and his father’s cornflower blue eyes.

[This personality does not appear in Twilightkit he grows a little older]

Enjoying the habit of taking life at his own pace, Twilightkit rarely lets his slower development frustrate him, especially since he is only a week behind his sister, even at the worst of situations, he doesn’t mind being a little bit behind. Because he tends to spend less time rushing into things, he tends to spend more of his time watching rather than causing havoc, leading him to take notice of details some other kits might miss. Twilightkit is prone to getting lost in his own thoughts, usually wondering about the world and his place in it, but usually doesn’t think too deeply about it for long. Generally his point of view might read as peaceful, as he is genuinely happy with the life he was given, regardless of where it leads him and what he may end up finding.

Twilightkit doesn’t usually succumb to peer pressure of the harsh personalities of the more competitive ShadowClan denizens, on the contrary, he usually finds himself quite close with them, as his mother is certainly one of those cats. He likes to see himself as a comfort to be around, always willing to sit quietly and listen to other cats ramble, even if he doesn’t yet understand. When he finally learns a skill, he will put his mind into attempting to master it completely, wanting to take his time to analyze every single part of it.

While his contentment usually makes Twilightkit the happiest, some cats may look at it like laziness or lack of drive to become a powerful ShadowClan warrior, while it isn’t his main goal, he still wishes to serve ShadowClan as a warrior, even if he might not really seem like it. However, fast-paced situations or chaotic nursery games tend to cause him to freeze, loud noises generally are a bane to him and tend to stress the young tom-cat. But while he is mostly happy, a small part of him carried a quiet, lingering question of worthiness compared to his sister. But as a young kit (0-2 moons) he does not feel this as much.

Kithood (0 Moons – Current):

Among the warriors of ShadowClan, Nightwhisper wasn’t who some might of thought would be the next cat to enter the nursery. As she is quite the adventurous and restless spirit. But when Twilightkit and his sister [Name]kit came along, albeit a bit earlier than usual, Nightwhisper rather quickly began to fit into her role nicely. But Twilightkit was another story… growing up he always seemed to be a few pawsteps behind his sister, hitting milestones a week after she hit hers. However, it never truly bothered him as much as it should, but part of him simply wondered ‘Why am I so behind?’. He may know in the future, he may not, but he would be happy living either way.
