A still-growing, dark brown Maine Coon tabby tom with green eyes and ear tufts

Cookie is larger than the average cat, as he has purebred Maine Coon heritage. He has long dark brown tabby fur, and dark brown ear tufts as Maine Coons do. His long fur is incredibly matted from his time barely surviving on the streets, and he is rather skinny for the same reason. His eyes are emerald green and he has a black nose and paw pads.

Cookie is a very brash tom, he is overly confident in where he should not be which can often lead to failure and frustration. He has a bad habit of rushing into situations, no matter what danger they might lead to. He doesn’t think through his actions, and to top it all off he is extremely impatient. However, if he does take a moment to stop and think he is actually somewhat smart, he just doesn’t think most of the time.

Like many kittypets, Cookie was born into warmth. A loving mother which he spent his first moon or two living with, although he never did know his father his mother said she didn’t know him much either. Always talking about this thing called a ‘show’ that she longed to get back to. After a couple moons he was removed from his mother, brought to this house that was overly clean. He was forced to stand on a table for what felt like an eternity on end and given tastier treats when he did certain actions, handled by more humans than he could count, and reprimanded harshly when he inevitably got bored or frustrated and tried to wander off.

Cookie grew increasingly upset about this treatment as time went on, it was long and boring and he didn’t want to deal with it. Then one day the door to the outside was left open, and he ran. Quickly realizing this was a mistake, he struggled to keep himself just barely alive. His silky smooth fur became matted, and he grew incredibly malnourished as he searched for scraps in the garbage. Eventually he came across a cat called Kosmo, who taught him how to hunt, and about what different herbs and plants in the area could do. It wasn’t too long after that Kosmo invited him to join a group of cats that he was forming, and the young tom accepted, in part because he was tired of trying to fend for himself and just barely surviving.
