It was an important time for the clan and Moosestar made his way to address his clan in the early light of day.
"Let all cats old enough to hunt their own prey, gather here beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting."
He tail lashed evenly as he awaited the rest of ThunderClan, eagerness in his eyes.

Robinkit heard Moosestar's call, not too clearly from the nursery but she heard it. She hadn't really realized that the day of her apprenticeship would come so soon, but here it was, a time where she could hardly fit in her nest that well anymore, and her false herb collection? Mostly wilted away after the last cleaning, the nests had been cleaned not very long ago and Robinkit didn't see much point in replacing them, she was going to be sleeping elsewhere now, so she didn't need them.
She moved toward the opening that lead to the nursery, she could see quite a bit of the camp from there, especially now she was bigger, more toned, and slightly more angular than her round faced kit-self. She didn't exactly meet Moosestar's eyes, but his voice, the way he cheered when he spoke the call, it was less obvious than some would notice, but it was still there. Seemed like he was more eager than Robinkit was.
A breath left Robinkit for what seemed like a whole moon, she moved her yellow gaze toward the elders' den, would Bravesong be attending? She promised to visit him. She shook her head, she was getting sidetracked. She glanced back to Moosestar, maybe this meeting wasn't hers, maybe if she stayed in the nursery, she could be a kit for a little longer, just a little.

When Moosestar called for the Clan's assembly, he interrupted Mistyleaf from an interesting dream about the different mosses that could be found in the forest... As she opened her eyes and blinked away sleep, she could still remember parts of it. Unique scents, the ways they felt beneath her dream self's paws, and so on.
The silver torbie held fast to them in her mind as she rose and left the warriors' den for a spot within view of the Highrock, but not too deep into the eventual crowd.

Hearing Moosestar call, Finchkit slowly got up, padding over to the highrock. The small tom didn't say a word, letting out a yawn. Not out of disrespect or boredom but rather from fatigue. No matter how much his mother begged him to rest, Finchkit loved playing night guard and spending the mornings sleeping despite his mother's advice.

Kestrelswipe had been ready for Moosestar's call since he'd woken up. Longer, really. Since Moosestar had first approached him about mentoring. He'd made sure his fur was groomed neatly so that he was presentable, and he sat up close near the front of the gathered cats.
He watched the two apprentices approach, not quite in sync with each other, but still both seemingly excited. He hoped Finchkit's excitement would carry over.

Moosestar waited patiently for cats to assemble, each one a small part of a greater ThunderClan. As a leader it was his duty to guide those forward, and this ceremony would mark an uncommon milestone should StarClan approve.
"Today we gather here because two of our own are ready for their apprentice names...Step forward, Finchkit and Robinkit."

Tigerrush knew that Moosestar had the apprentice ceremonies approaching and was planning on doing it soon. How soon, she wasn't sure but to start her day, she had made sure to enjoy a small mouse from the fresh-kill pile to satisfy her hunger, freshen the mouse bile in her stores, and to add a bit of fluff to the nests in her den, just in case.
With the mouse a pleasant memory sitting in her belly, the brown tabby medicine cat gave not just her face and whiskers a wash, but made sure to give herself a once over, finishing just as she heard her leader call for a clan meeting. Getting to her paws, she padded from the medicine den to join those gathering in the clearing and took a deep breath.
She still wasn't fully convinced on her decision after speaking to Moosestar, but it was said and done and in the past. No turning back or changing her mind now. Everything from here on out was in the paws of Starclan.
