The weather was warming, but that did little to soothe her underlying nerves. The murderer had still not been caught and she was morbidly curious to see if the other clans had more terrible news.

Emberdust poked her cinnamon tinted head out from the nursery at the clan meeting call. After not recieving an invitation to go last moon, she was a bit antsy to stretch her legs and make the trip. Her kits were too young to join her, of course, but maybe Specklenose could watch over them if needed.

Having just cleaned up his dinner of discarded water vole bone and other scrap, Duskpaw returned to camp just in time to hear the distinctive call of Palestar. He paused briefly, but continued to the apprentice den where he sat nearby. Maybe the others would get called - he had little desire to go this time. He'd hear any heresay eventually.

Honeyglow was curled up in the medicine cat's den, oblivious to the clan's announcements. Not a twitch of an ear or shift in stance at the recognizable call. The tom snoozed restlessly.

Clovershine stretched out her front paws, less than elegantly as she padded out into the main clearing at her sister’s call. It was the pre-gathering meeting and she was well aware of that, she hardly expected to be going to this one but she wasn’t in any sort of mood about it. The day has started off fine and there was no point in ruining it now.
Clovershine limped past Emberdust and waved her tail in greeting before taking a comfortable seat beside Duskpaw, glancing up at her sister’s mismatched eyes expectantly

Like most days, Wolfkit was dozing in the nursery and nothing much had disturbed him until he felt his mothers movements in the nursery. The little smoke tom’s nose crinckled and he squinted his eyes open to see her mother peaking out of the nursery like the meaning announcement meant the world. With an audible yawn, Wolfkit stood up and carefully stepped over his sisters before meeting his mother at the edge of the nursery’s entrance.
if this meeting was anything to look forward to, he would be in the dead centre of camp in a few moons time. Not like the world was in any rush to get him there. He was happy to just, be.

They are outside of the warriors den, laying down and peacefully relaxed. The peace would no longer be as soon as their leader announces a clan meeting. Looking over where Palestar is they first yawned, stretched their front paws, then stand up on their paws to padding over the meeting spot. Where the warrior sees few of their clanmates gathered in their seating spots.

Hickorystorm padded from the elder's den with a yawn, his tail shivering as he stretched. He had been feeling slightly unhelpful lately and made his way to the clan meeting with a less than enthusiastic air to him. He did pause by the nursery though, nose flaring lightly as he caught Emberdust's scent, in an attempt to socialize. "How are you tonight, Emberdust? Your kits doing well? Growing fast?"
Sootbounce:
Gathering again, and Sootbounce made sure to be right in the center of things. With the melting of the snow, his ambush tactics would have to become... muddier again. But for now the van tom was pristine, kneading the ground out of a lack of something to do. Waiting for the announcement.
Redpaw:
Hickorystorm's absence was all that alerted Redpaw to the gathering in the clearing. He had been busy changing out the elder's moss, picking ticks off of scruffs and... hoenstly? Generally gossiping or at least listening to the gossip. There was always something going on in the clan, even just below the surface.
He strained his ears, not willing to abandon the moss he was currently fluffing.

Heronsong's ear flicked as she turned away from her work reinforcing the nursery. The melting frost always ended up causing some damage to the walls. She quickly got to a stopping point, opening and closing her mouth a few times to red rid of the woody taste as she walked over to the other cats. She took her seat at the edge of the crowd, watching for Palestar's next words.
"Noooo that's not fairrrr!"

Hearing Palestar's call, Swampkit scrambled after Emberdust and Wolfkit, the kitten looking up at the leader with wide eyes. Maybe they'd be as great as Palestar one day... Or maybe not but a cat could dream, right?
