At least it wasn't as warm as it could be.
That thought crossed Fawnstar's mind as she made her way up the Talking Cliff in preparation to call and address her clan. With the events of the moons since her becoming to Clan Leader, she couldn't believe how fast the moons had passed. The first set of kits she remembered apprenticing had bene her own siblings and now, it was time they were awarded their warrior names after their long, hard work.
She lifted her voice to be heard around camp, letting the refreshingly cool breeze carry it to the far corners of camp.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey meet beneath the Talking Cliff for a clan meeting!"

Heatherpaw emerged from the Elder's Den with Barleyswipe after inspecting her second dam's nest. Barleyswipe was full of complaints but after some fresh bedding she seemed more satisfied. At Fawnstar's cry, both moved to gather beneath the Talking Spot, where the apprentice offered a nod to Cloudflare., hoping he was coping alright after the old deputy's death.
