Ask to Join The Leopard and the Adder

This camp was certainly larger than where SkyClan had been staying previously. Well build and maintained dens, an organized section of land that would be quite a good home for SkyClan and its warrior and such. His ears pricked however, as he heard the slight rustling of the grass that was outside of the camp.

He was in no rush, after all, there were more cats in the camp than their were on the edge of it. The pawsteps sounded uneven and only belonging to a singular cat. He slipped out of the gorse tunnel without much worry and he twitched his good ear, being treated for the most part by Kosmo after his little... exchanged, with the elder known as Gingerthrash.

And there it was, a little straggler, mustn't have been notified of the camp's new owners. But that was no issue, Basilisk would be happy to let this cat know of their upgraded territory himself. Whilst he wasn't able to see this cat, he could certainly smell her, and that she was ThunderClan. "Show yourself."

Leopardrose froze at the voice, her ears flicking toward the gorse tunnel. The wind must have kicked up and carried her scent...She slowly stepped from the shadows, her sprained hind leg touching the ground. The rosettes of her pelt were clearly visible in the fading light, along with the abrasions scattered across her sides and legs. Her aqua eyes narrowed as she studied the rogue before her.

He barely looked like he had been through a fight at all, gaze flicked past him toward the camp, taking in the unfamiliar scents that now seemed to coat everything. "Where is ThunderClan?" Suspicion and hatred threatened to bubble in her face. "Where is my Clan?"

"You'll find what remains of them if you travel east." Basilisk replied calmly, twitching the dark tip of his tail as the familiarity of the pelt in front of him was nearly uncanny, is this was the lilac she-cat saw when they took the camp? Hm.

Basilisk stared on, cold, distant, but he did wonder if this cat had even been aware of the events that had taken place, she was not at the Sandy Hollow when the slaughtering of her clanmates had taken place, nor was she in the camp when Gingerthrash had thrown his life away for a cheap thrill. Death be to ThunderClan... he supposed.

"Probably dealing with the losses." He added, his rosettes gleaming in the fading light like rippling scales. "They've suffered many. Not just at Sunningrocks." He had washed the toad residue from his fur by this time. He wasn't interested in battle, though it was a little strange that this cat didn't receive the message sent from the -paw's. Perhaps there was a dalliance.

Leopardrose just...stared at him. Her ears flicked back at the reveal, so ThunderClan was traveling east...? Leopardrose swallowed, forcing the disbelief down before it could show too plainly on her face. She wasn't about to tell this rogue where she'd been, what she'd seen, or anything else that might give him some advantage.

"So...you saw them travel east." She repeated lightly on her muzzle. "I see." She still was no sooner understanding what had really happened here, but at least she knew that Camp was no longer safe and that her Clan was heading east.

Leopardrose turned just enough to angle herself in the direction her mirrored image had told her. While her injured leg protested, she ignored it and prepared to put as much distance as possible between herself and the occupied camp.

She would find ThunderClan...whatever remained.

"Best of luck." He murmured, the younger, serving side of Basilisk pushed through his rosetted fur as he watched Leopardrose leave. But somewhere, deep within him, he hoped no other deaths would befall ThunderClan. He didn't want them all to suffer, not physically. He just craved his claws to ruin the ticked fur of the lilac devil. Little did he know.

Basilisk stood until Leopardrose's shape was out of sight, curling his tail around himself for a moment, the camp was clean, at home now that the crows had vacated the premises. It left Basilisk to wrack his brain on what control Kosmo had on them, but not clause lead to any answer that only made sense to a kit.

With a sigh, Basilisk rose on all four paws and dragged out a stretch longer than he wanted to, but he allowed it, it was his time to relax, he had found a place for himself and he was happy to take the time to stretch out his paws, this was a new opportunity, one that was still opening up day by day. In theory, anyway.
