Greypebbles was resting, or rather, grooming, on the far side of camp when he watched Moosestar climb the high rock. For a moment, his mind circled to find the possible reason for this meeting, then it clicked and his ears perked. The Gathering! With a heaving breath, Greypebbles stood up from his laying position and shook his grey spotted pelt, walking closer to the main area of the clearing.

He did particularly like Gatherings, but it was a part of keeping peace with all the clans and a way of letting the others know how the clans are doing, and even sorting out situations where other clans or even their own was in need. And he much preferred hearing about the Gathering through the mouths of other cats other than himself. But who was he to appose Moosestar's decision of all cats, that's of course, if he was going to the Gathering.

He didn't attend the last gathering, so he wasn't entirely sure what had occurred and he never dared step a paw close to any of the borders, he never wanted to be involved in any confrontations if he were to accidentally step paw over a border he shouldn't, after all he was still young. So all he did now is glance up at Moosestar to hear his wise words

Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished

From the interior of the nursery Bravesong dozed off with his ward, comfortable in his nest. Gathering night was upon him, but he had little to worry about. A queen rarely was called to join the parade to Fourtrees when they had kits to watch. Yet as a familiar voice rang out, Bravesong stirred and gentle escaped hopefully without disturbing Coyotekit. His black and white head poked out, with one good eye staring across the clearing where he spotted Moosestar up on HIghrock.

Adventurous hearts, wild and free, dance to the rhythm of destiny

 of course she was stick doing apprentice work. Brindlepaw rolled a fresh springy mass of fresh moss into the elder's for her final trip. The dirty work had already been accomplished so now there was nothing left to do but arrange the moss in their nests for the elder's to use. Wildcry gave her a large birth as the large she-cat slipped out from the den to grab herself a morsel of freshkill. Brindlepaw found her oppertunity as Moosestar's cry rang out across camp, and she skittered out of the den where she did her best to look presentable.

Bloodlines of strength ignite fierce souls

 Pushing her way passed the mostly grey apprentice, Wildcry heeded the call of not Moosestar, but her belly. With a caual, yet purposeful trot, she stopped herself at the pile proper as she peered down at what might catch her eye. She tossed a mouse from the top, then a chipmunk... Not to her palette. But eyes lit up at the sight of a robin and hooked it closer to her.

Blissful at best, clueless at worst

Larchpaw had been waiting for Moosestar's call eagerly, buzzing around camp hardly able to sit still. Surely she would get to go to the gathering this time. She was nearly a warrior and could represent her clan well, plus she was desperate to see the other clans apprentices. She had talked to a few before, but hardly remembered them. She ended up bounding to a halt next to her sister, giving her a light, playful shove on the shoulder to indicate she was excited.

Spawn of flame, Thunder-struck, from the ashes I rise

 An exotic form slipped form the warrior's den at the call of Moosestar, not particularly feeling sociable come this Gathering night. When she heard Greypebble's called to attend, she couldn't help but flash him a grimace. He wasn't entirely susceptible to cross-clan banter either, but at least she wouldn't be attending, which meant she had to busy herself in the meantime.
