Boldstar found himself thankful that the day was a bit cooler than yesterday. The temperature had dropped some going into the night, rendering things almost tolerable. The light of the full moon was made dappled by the clouds crossing over it, letting the big gray tom slip more subtly than usual across the fresh-kill hollow to take up his place in the speaking spot.
He settled and sat for a long moment, taking in the evening in camp. Not every cat counted the days of the moon’s cycle, but it was easy enough to see the phase. It was always just a tad more awake around the Twinwillow on a gathering night than any other night of the moon.
Finally, Boldstar made his call: ”All cats old enough to catch their own prey should gather here in the shade of the Twinwillow!”

The subtle chatter of cats in camp made Goosesong's lounging a lot more peaceful, because at least he knew his clanmates were safe and there was no prolonging silence to signify an attack... thank StarClan for that. It had only been two days since he had sprained his paw, but it wasn't as painful anymore, and was quite bearable if he was being honest with himself.
With a flick of his ear, Goosesong heard the steps of Boldstar approaching the place where meetings were held. his aquamarine eyes opened to glance over at his leader. Waiting in anticipation for his yowling. And eventually it came with a booming echo. Baring his teeth and parting his jaws to yawn, he stretched out his large pale paws and padded towards the thick of the clearing, sitting in a spot adjacent to Boldstar.
Goosesong gave Boldstar and greeting nod, the large tabby had a lot of respect for Boldstar and knew that whoever he picked for the upcoming gathering would be the correct choice for this night, or any night for that matter. And for that time, he waited for the rest of the cats to rush along in silence to listen to who would be going to the gathering this moon.

An actual tolerable day for a large cat! Cottonbright was pleased about the turn of the day after a successful lesson with Mintpaw. She had just deposited a water vole into the pile as Boldstar passed by. She offered a respectful nod as she watched him ascend to the speaking place in the shade of the Twinwillow. She would be ready in case she was called to accompany the group tonight.

So divested from camp life, Nettleplume was busy at work putting freshly dried herbs into their storage places. Today wasn't a day in which he was out and about, but knew he should get as much done before he was called to the Gathering. As the light of the moon climbed in the sky he stepped out of the warren, loitering close by before Boldstar made his call.

Otterwhisker was just enjoying the pleasant nightside air, curling on a stray root from Twinwillow. Her shorter tail dangled from the bough and her eyes were lazy as she watched the cats assembling outside for the usual call to the Gathering. Maybe Boldstar would ask for her company tonight, but she was also pleased to stay behind and organize a game with her kits.

Merrykit was hoping for a game. She was nearly the age of an apprentice and her mmovement and coordination was excelling at a increasing rate. The tabby mink kit was nearby her mother, buried in the fresh kill pile. Her pelt carried the scent of trout as she grappled the freshly caught fish, pretending she was wrestling it out of the water herself.

Briarfang stretched as they approached the Twinwillow, extending out their forelegs before settling down among their clanmates. A sense of pride was humming through their chest. The gathering would be a fun opportunity to observe more of those Thunderclan cats. Coldgaze's scheme was becoming almost fun, and they couldn't help but occupy themself by considering their enemies.
Coldgaze:
Gatherings were a chore in his mind, but Coldgaze knew there was probably a reason Starclan mandated clans who for the most part were expected to stay seperate to join for a meeting every moon. Perhaps he would ask Nettleplume about it on the way. Speaking of Nettleplume, this would be the first gathering where he was a full fledged Medicine Cat.
Coldgaze picked out the younger cat from the crowd and sat down beside him, grooming any mats out from his chest or ears. "Now you have something to flaunt on that little ginger she-cat." Piperpaw? Was that her name? He couldn't be bothered to remember at the moment. "Or, you can speak with the other medicine cats on equal terms now. Equally as exciting."
Sturgeonkit:
The moon was pretty dull today - but that didn't make Sturgeonkit nervous. Last time the weather was bad, Coldgaze and his sire had brought back Mistykit. So if anything, bad weather was a good sign! Right?
He absentmindedly batted at Merrykit's tail, bored for the moment. Maybe they could come up with a game once all the warriors were gone? Heck, maybe they could sneak out! And go to the gathering themselves! That would be the best game of all.

The slightly ragged, yet well groomed she-cat slinked her way over to the clan meeting, her usually bored gaze filled with slight interest. The gathering was one of the only exciting things that happened each moon, and even if little news was shared at the gathering, it was still something different. She chose her spot next to Briarfang as she awaited to hear who Boldstar chose for the gathering.

Nettlesky, sat quite comfortably as she half-watched over the camp entrance and half-watched what she could of the meeting Boldstar'd just called, looked on as one of her kits was once again almost late due to hunting...
Thornstrike's latest outing hadn't yielded much in their opinion. The warrior's pelt wasn't soaking wet, but it was still damp as they padded across camp with another trout for the fresh-kill pile. For the briefest of heartbeats as their tail swished, Thornstrike wondered how Sturgeonkit and Merrykit would've reacted if she just dropped the fish on one of them, but the thought was banished like an errant piece of moss clinging to one's fur, and Thornstrike found a place on another side of the pile for the new trout.

Mistykit was initially waiting near Otterwhisker, until she saw Merrykit and Sturgeonkit near the fresh-kill pile. She began trying to stalk her siblings, her entire backend wriggling before she launched herself at the other two kits with a yowl. "Surprise attack!"
Mintpaw had finished his chores for the day and, even with his light colored pelt, wanted a break from the heat and had gone into the apprentice den for a nap. He had napped restfully until the call of Boldstar broke through his dreams. Starting awake with a snort, he slid from his nest with a quivering stretch before padding out to the gathering clan under the Twinwillow to see if he would be going to the Gathering or if he'd be staying an able to grab a bite to eat from the fresh-kill pile.

Hailkit leaned against her mother as her siblings played, releasing a huge yawn from her maw. Something in her thought that playing could possibly be fun.. but all her growing as of late made her feel rather exhausted. After all, she was now four moons- only two away from being an apprentice. She was no teeny kit anymore!
For now, she simply watched Boldstar; her eyes quietly sparkling as she inspected him with respect and (still) some awe. Something about him just.. was so freaking cool to her. Enough that a smile lightly curled on her little lips, letting one of her little fangs slightly poke out.
