It was almost concerning how much time Rimekit spent trying to escape camp. With the rogue on the loose, he was adamant to stop her if her caught her. If he caught her. He had spoken with Wrentalon about the match he was about to make and decided caught the she-cat after she had eviserated a vole for her morning meal.
"Let all cats old enough to hunt their own prey, gather here beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting."
He waited until cats assembled, noting Rimekit's quick jump to stand in attendance. Once enough had arrived, he continued. "Today we gather here because one of our own is ready for their apprentice name...Step forward, Rimekit."
The large kit stepped forward, tail tip twitching with antisipation and odd eyes sweeping the crowd expectantly.

Wrentalon stepped up to the Highrock, feeling quite proud of himself. The brown tabby tom sat with his shoulders squared, ready for the ceremony to start. He couldn't help but reflect on how meaningful this apprenticeship would be for him. Being able to mentor his own mentor's kit was something special. Or, if he did it wrong, it could invoke some serious ire from Wildcry.
Well, either way, his experience was getting noticed. It was about time.

Moosestar blinked towards Wrentalon who sat ready for the announcement. No doubt something he had been wanting for awhile.
"Wrentalon, you will be mentor to Rimepaw. Wrentalon, you are direct and strong. Pass on all you can to this young apprentice."
Rimepaw, now a fledgeling apprentice, strutted to meet her mentor. Ol' Treeback. Chuckling out loud, she thrust her nose forward.

Finchpaw watched in silence as the meeting went on, eyes unblinking as he stared at Rimeki- Rimepaw with an expressionless face. He was sure that Rimepaw would make a good apprentice. Although the tom didn't say a word, he was happy for his cousin, hoping that maybe they would be able to train together at some point.

Wrentalon chuckled back at the kit's evident excitement, and bent his head to touch his nose to hers. He supposed she wasn't much of a kit anymore, either, but he'd wait until she grew out a little more before he stopped calling her that in his head. He sat beside Rimepaw, now his apprentice, his chest swelling with pride.
