The RiverClan territory was something of marvel to Laetitia, the trees and running streams with little shadows of fish flicking left and right within them as the current carried them on. She hadn't seen anything like it. But the most marvelous sight of all had been how becoming excitement was on Tangleloon. His excitement was infectious to her. and her tail tip gave a little twitch as her large, triangular ears angled toward the RiverClan camp.

"Mon ami." She corrected politely as he slipped into the camp toward what she assumed was Coldstar's den. Tangleloon had dragged her rather suddenly from her home but she most certainly had time to say her final goodbyes before then, even if Lelouch and Stewart Smokey did not know they were final.

Laetitia moved closer to the entrance of the camp but didn't dare squeeze past the threshold yet. Not until she was permitted for such a thing. Not until she had met Coldstar and he or Tangleloon led her in herself. She wouldn't dare intrude.

Coldstar was waiting for Tangleloon to return as the curly tom marched his way into the Leader's Den. Despite Nettleplume's protests he wasn't infirm. Just, tired. If anything the constant scheming and planning for the last... Starclan how long had it been? A long while - had left him more drained than he had expected. Coldstar genuinely wondered if it was a loss of a life, or the fact that he had finally relaxed that was making him feel frayed around the edges.

He stood at Tangleloon entered and bumped heads with his cousin. "Well. She made it then?"

This was somewhat unprecidented. It had been a long time since any outsider had been allowed into Riverclan, longer since any had shown interest in joining. And with the apperance of Skyclan, he could understand some cats being apprehensive of a loner amongst them.

But there was no reason to deny a cat a chance to join. Whether or not she would succeed depended on her. And Riverclan could always use fresh blood and more helping paws.

"Lead on, Tangle. Let's see what you're so excited about." There was the slightest edge of teasing to his voice as he said it.

Retirement? I prefer ‘extended vacation with benefits.’

Tangleloon practically bounced on his paws as he emerged from the Leader's Den, his excitement hardly contained now that he had Coldstar in tow. "Oh, she most certainly did!" He purred, practically skipping along the familiar path."Though I must warn you, she's veeery eloquent." His poor cousin might need a moment or two to catch up!

He was eager for the two to meet, perhaps a little too eager, if the spring in his step was any indication. "There she is!" He announced as he brougth him towards the bush where Laetitia was waiting, eyes brightening. Now Coldstar could get a good look at her.

"Laetitia, this is Coldstar, our leader and my very dear cousin. Coldstar, this is Laetitia!" For once Tangleloon managed to resist filling the silence with dozens of words and simply...let the moment settle. He watched the pair with anticipation as he waited for the two to greet one another.

Laetitia was finally meeting with RiverClan proper! Although...she wouldn't be called Laetitia for long if she was accepted!

As the two toms emerged from the camp entrance, Laetitia politely curled her tail around her paws. Tangleloon had told her about Coldstar, told her that leaders are to be respected. She understood respect as rather loose... given her elite upbringing, but Tangleloon had shown her how, whether he meant to or not.

"It is a distinct pleasure to make the acquaintance of the legendary Coldstar." The spotted lilac she-cat leant him a dip of her head, she would have bowed, but maybe that was too formal for cats that lived wildly. "Tangleloon has spoken to me at considerable length concerning you, monsieur." she added, giving Tangleloon a little sidelong glance for a moment before turning her gaze back to Coldstar.

She also needed a little air of confidence about her, so she puffed out her chest ever so slightly, her ears dipping forward to full attention. "And that you have afforded me the opportunity to experience clan life for myself, rather than merely observing it from a distance." She spoke just as eloquently as Tangleloon promised, offering Coldstar another faint dip of her head. While keeping her head dipped she spoke. "For that, I am most grateful to you."
