Noah had spent so many moons sleeping that he had lost count. When was the last time he went out? He couldn’t remember. Whatever the reason, something had motivated him to get out of his comfortable nest today… That something being his younger sister Raven. Despite being a fully-grown adult cat now, she continued to be full of energy and surprises everyday, attacking everything that moved.
The cream tabby let out a yawn as he padded after her, sighing. “Remind me, Raven. What are we doing here again? I think it’s best we finish quickly before those wildcats find us.”
"Get back here, little lizard!"

Raven had noticed how Noah had done nothing but sleep as of late so she decided that it would be a good time to drag her brother out of his dream world and do something fun with him. Spend some quality time together. Perhaps play a game. Hide-and-go-seek maybe.
“Don’t be such a bum! We’re here to have fun!” the molly purred. Frankly, she couldn’t care less if a clan cat showed up. She could probably either play her innocent card or apologise and run away.
With a stretch to get rid of her nerves, Raven started to yap Noah’s ears off again.

Smallbird was skittish. She didn’t like this part of the territory at the best of times. The trees were too spaced and straight. Not to mention the distinct lack of undergrowth. Sure the grass was long in places and there was a bush here and there, but it wasn’t like the rest of Thunderclan territory where you were comfortably closed in by plants. Still, she hadn’t hunted here in a while and she certainly didn’t feel like she had met her prey quota for a day like today. Then again, Smallbird never felt like she had successfully met her obligations and hunting was often the only thing she could think to do.
Distracted by thoughts, the gray tabby she-cat jumped in fright when she heard a voice, fur fluffing out as much as it could. Threat? Danger? Smallbird froze, amber eyes staring around her as her ears swivelled, trying to identify who had spoken and from where. A second voice had her turning and crouching low as she spotted two unfamiliar cats. She watched them for a moment, trying to decide whether or not they were hostile. It didn’t take much observation for Smallbird to determine that they weren’t hostile and likely wouldn’t be upon her appearance. Regardless, though, it was her duty as a warrior to confront any strange cats that were encountered in Thunderclan territory anyway.
Taking a deep breath to try and steady herself, Smallbird strode as confidently as she could toward the two cats, although the tremor in her flanks and tail was noticeable. ”You are intruding upon Thunderclan territory,” she declared, the firmness she sought not quite entering her tone. ”State your business or leave now.” The words lacked any real force and the expression on the tabby she-cat’s have betrayed the fear she held, as did her rapidly twitching tail and the slight fluffing on her tail and neck. Her posture proved she was more afraid than aggressive as she held herself defensively but tried to look intimidating.

Despite being a semi-feral and finding trust in both his housefolk and the world around him, his hearing wasn't any less sharper then the average cat's having heard something shuffle. "Hold on." The tomcat whispered to his sister. "Somebody is here."
The tom seemed surprised when an unfamiliar clan cat strode over... Not so confidently. Her scent was completely unfamiliar to him. The tom tilted his head to the side. "Is it really intruding when cats like us along with our housefly come here to play when the weather is nice?" The tabby questioned, fluffy tail swaying. "We came here to play. We won't take your precious prey."
Noah wasn't bothered by the she-cat's attempt to scare them away. If was used to getting what he wanted.

Raven simply watched in surprise as her older brother stood up for himself for once. Maybe the softie who didn't like killing birds wasn't such a softie after all. He actually could stand up for them every once in a while.
Despite this, the molly sighed, shaking her head. "Noah... Their scent was all over those trees I think it's best we go." The she-cat couldn't hide her disappointment. She loved this part of Whitehart but she wasn't interested in fighting.

Smallbird took a step backward, maintaining a suitable distance from the two intruders when the male responded in an unexpected way. Clearly she was failing again since he wasn’t scared or deterred. ”It doesn’t matter if you’re hunting or just licking your butt,” the gray tabby meowed quietly, scared to annoy the tom too much. ”These are our lands. We don’t come into your gardens just for the fun of it.” Smallbird hoped that her words had come across as reasonable rather than offensive. She wasn’t much of a fighter and if the she-cat decided to join claws if the tom attacked her, well, the Thunderclan warrior would have to flee and that would be exceptionally embarrassing.
Smallbird shuffled slightly, her amber gaze flicking between the two cats. She didn’t like this situation. Why couldn’t outsiders just stay outside of clan boundaries? They seemed intent on intruding into clan territory as if there wasn’t an endless world for them to play in besides the clans’ spaces. The gray tabby she-cat turned her gaze toward the black she-cat. Unlike the tom, she didn’t seem to want to stand her ground and her words proved as much, although Smallbird would find it hard to deny the fact that those words did make her feel bad. The disappointment was so clear, and heartbreaking. Smallbird almost wanted to tell them that they could play for a while as long as they didn’t hunt, but if someone heard her or caught her allowing such a thing, she would be heavily ridiculed or punished. The idea of being banished as a traitor entered the Thunderclanner’s mind and she tensed as a wave of anxiety washed over her. No. She had to get these two to go home.
