Private Thread Coyote in the Canopy

Spawn of flame, Thunder-struck, from the ashes I rise

Sunlight poured through the canopy in long, dappled shafts, glinting off the fresh green of newleaf. The air was soft with warmth and the distant trill of birdsong, making even the earth underpaw feel alive. Leopardrose moved with a kind of quiet ease, her muscles relaxed but purposeful as she led the way along the worn forest path.

Her paws found familiar ground as the undergrowth gave way to a gentle rise, massive and knotted with age. Its limbs arched like reaching arms, thick and inviting. Leopardrose paused at its base, lifting her head to admire it with something close to reverence.

"This..." She meowed, flicking her tail toward it. "Is my favorite tree in the whole forest. Perfect view. Strongest limbs. And plenty of moss to break your fall - " She shot Coyotepaw a sly grin. She crouched low, bunching her haunches before springing up onto the lowest branch with a practiced grace. Perched above, she looked down, one brow raised.

"We will be climbing this tree today - if that's alright with you?"
