Thornstrike didn't bring Mistypaw as far from camp as they thought they would to start. Maybe they'd head somewhere else, but Thornstrike left that trail of thought for later. The riverbank area would serve their purpose. "Do you still feel like you lack strength?" the warrior asked Mistypaw almost apathetically in reference to a previous moon's conversation.
Shadesleek wasn't really the sort to get up long before the sun just to teach someone, and now, as a mentor... the warrior felt even more right about her decision. It wasn't like she and Oatpaw were on the dawn patrol. They were still in camp. Shadesleek had managed to rise as the sky lightened and birds started chirping, but that was the best she'd do on her own and it still felt too early. "Let's go over... prey," Shadesleek decided. "When do you think the best time to hunt is?"
Smallclaw - Windclan warrior Awakening from his sleep, Smallclaw's nose scrunches with a frown; expressing well he does not feel happy being awake. Does he want to get up? The tom wishes not- but he wouldn't want someone looking for him here. 'Ughh..I need to get outta here then.' Lazily he sits up from his resting position and turns to look at the den's entrance. Before Smallclaw walked over there he needed to clean his eyes; bringing up the right front paw and cleaning off the eye discharge. Then when that's done he'll rush out of the warrior's den. Ou ...
What are you afraid of losing if nothing in the world actually belongs to you. ~・゚: *~・゚:* 🫧 *:・゚~*:・゚~ Goosesong's pawsteps came softer than usual, he wasn't sure if it was because he would be hunting for fish today so he wished to make a little noise as possible, or if Cottonbright had some sort of effect on him that made him tread lighter, more carefully. Whatever it was, he made no conscious effort to stop the habit as it never hurt any cat, Goosesong knew when to stand his ground, and when he needed to, her would. He glanced behind him, Cotto ...
There was a chill in the air, but it didn't bother Dawnflurry. Paired with the clear sky, it made him feel hopeful. "Sootbounce will lead the sunhigh patrol," he meowed as he arrived to the Talking Spot and addressed the warriors. "Brackenwing will lead the dusk patrol, Hollyclaw will lead the moonhigh patrol, and Sunpool will lead tomorrow's dawn patrol. Ashcloud and Echobright, you're in charge of today's hunting patrols."
Even the smallest pebble can make ripples that change the course of the stream. ⋘ ──── ∙∙•🪨•∙∙ ──── ⋙ Greypebbles had decided it would have been nice to look after the kits and play with them, but the only one awake and even mildly interested in whatever play he had to offer was Robinkit, which he didn't mind, she was very polite and not too rowdy, and she has definitely gotten a little more playful recently. But as they were playing, Greypebbles let out a surprised yelp when Robinkit's jump landed awkwardly while she was trying to jump onto his b ...
The world's too big to stay in one place. ⋘ ──── ∙∙•🦊•∙∙ ──── ⋙ The sun hung heavy in the sky, its golden like baking the twoleg paths and melting the sludgy snow Fox had been walking through since dawn. His paws ached with every step and though his spirit remained light, his limbs begged for pause. The scent of pine and dust clung to the air, but beneath it was something sharper, unfamiliar wood acrid oil and the tang or iron. He'd wandered close to the Treecut place. Fox hesitated at the edge of the clearing, amber eyes scanning the strange sigh ...
BERRYKIT: The sun didn’t take long to wake the cream tabby kit from his rest comfortably in his dam’s belly fur. The sun felt brighter today, that means he would be free to explore the camp again! Maybe even further today, if only he could sneak away quick enough, but with Berrykit’s clumsy paws, it was doubtful that he’d even make it halfway across the camp without being spotted. Berrykit climbed over Beewhisker’s curled legs and crawled out of the nursery, turning back to check if they were watching him or had woken up. But the way their shoulder ...
Fawnstar's tail twitched as she felt the familiar knot of anxiety in her belly as she prepared to call a meeting for the Gathering this moon. WindClan's luck hadn't held and wasn't spared by the wayward Rogue's attacks, unlike last moon. She wondered what would the other clans would say when they find out the murderer had been able to dispatch not one but two warriors in a single fight. She worried for her warriors, and especially for the two new apprentices in training. Shaking her head for a moment, she told herself that she chose and trusts the cats chose ...
Grace is effortless when born into it. ━◇──✧──💎──✧──◇━ Gosh Laetitia hated mud! The way it squelched between her paws, how wet it felt on her pristine pads, that was the worst part of all of this melting of snow, the only thing that this young she-cat hated more than the cold snow was the dirt! However she did have a mission in her mind, exploration, but she did wish that her attendents had placed her boots onto her paws so they wouldn't get muddy whilst doing this second expedition. She must find some water to wash off all of her paws after this, ...
Spawn of flame, Thunder-struck, from the ashes I rise──●◎●── Sunlight poured through the canopy in long, dappled shafts, glinting off the fresh green of newleaf. The air was soft with warmth and the distant trill of birdsong, making even the earth underpaw feel alive. Leopardrose moved with a kind of quiet ease, her muscles relaxed but purposeful as she led the way along the worn forest path. Her paws found familiar ground as the undergrowth gave way to a gentle rise, massive and knotted with age. Its limbs arched like reaching arms, thick and inviting. L ...
Pressure like a drip, drip, drip that'll never stop, whoa. Pressure that'll tip, tip tip 'till you just go pop, whoa.❖ ⭒ ❖ ⭒ ❀ ⭒ ❖ ⭒ ❖ The sun had risen higher than usual for early newleaf, warming the breeze and softening the frost bitten edges of RiverClan's familiar paths. Cottonbright padded along the worn trail to the riverbank, her white pelt catching the morning light like a dusting of snow beneath clear skies. The air was crisp, but not biting. It was almost pleasant. She cast a glance back at Sturgeonpaw, making sure the young tom was keeping up. ...
The weather was warmer, and so was the deputy. The approach of the summer brought some hope; they had managed without having to resort to rationing and no casualties. His clan was strong. Looking out across the sea of faces, Coldgaze called to the warriors and apprentices alike. "Cats of Riverclan! To me." Waiting for everyone to settle, he finalized last minute decisions about patrol leaders before continuing. With the melting of the river, now was the time to capitalize on the new minnows and fish that were coming out of hiding. "Cottonbright and Go ...
A brown and cream figure sat atop the Talking Cliff, silhouetted head lifted to sniff the air, it's owner pleased with the day so far. It was the warmest day to bless the Clans recently and with the warm sun shining on the camp, Fawnstar decided this would be as good of a day as any for the clan meeting and ceremony she had planned. After the sad news the previous clan meeting had inspired, what with the murders of Pinestep and Doveflight, she knew the Clan would be eagerly anticipating this meeting and knew it would bring hope and cheer to her clanmates. S ...
Kestrelswipe fought off a shiver as he stood before the gathering cats. He knew many were expecting the usual patrol assignments, but today was different. He cleared his throat, deciding to start with the most important part. “We know rogues have been a problem lately. In response, Moosestar and I have spoken, and we have decided to send a few patrols out to investigate. I will take Dovethorn and Spidertongue to patrol along the river.” He flicked his tail to the warriors in turn, hoping they shared his seriousness for the expedition. Shifting his gaze to t ...
What are you afraid of losing if nothing in the world actually belongs to you. ~・゚: *~・゚:* 🫧 *:・゚~*:・゚~ “So Stormpaw” Goosesong began, his words as even as always as he took his apprentice to the fields of their territory, he was fairly certain that she could learn a few new moves today, some battle moves would help, especially now in the situation with the killings and whoever this rogue was would need to be fought off with everything possible, the battle training was necessary. Goosesong moved over to a clearer patch of land and stood in front o ...
Even in the darkest shadows, there is always a glimmer of light. We just have to look for it. ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* 🍀 *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ Clovershine trudged along the melting snowy path until herself and Dazzlepaw had come to a clearing wide enough for some decent battle training. She placed her paws softly on the ground, a slight limp made her gait a little lopsided but that was never out of the ordinary for her, especially her. “Dazzlepaw, today we’ll be trying something a little different today” The cream pointed she-cat began, flicking her tail over her shoulde ...
I am shaped by the trials I refuse to surrender to. ✧✦✧༄༅:・゚🕊️・゚:༅༅༄✧✦✧ It had been a fair few days since Lilyriver had moved herself formally into the nursery, she had certainly made herself feel at home there, albeit it was a bit empty there, but she wasn’t sure what other cat would join her aside from short visits. The pregnancy hadn’t really been bothering her all that much in recent days but she knew that she was close as the kits were moving around a lot more frequently, so she had stayed in the nursery for a couple of days now, decidi ...
