Private Thread Paws off, Berrypaw!

Berrypaw stumbled into the medicine den with Beewhisker flanking him, worry plaguing his birthing parent's expression. He didn't seem to understand why they were so concerned, it was just a bit of swelling and it would go down by the next day surely... although the worry might have been because he took himself out of camp without Breezewing, but he would have interrupted his hunt with all his lectures. But maybe if Breezewing was there, he wouldn't have rolled on his ankle wrong mid crouch and sprained it. Eh, it happened now.

As Beewhisker called for Rowanglade, explaining the situation worriedly, Berrypaw flicked his tail, sprained paw lifted slightly above the ground, but close enough to be obvious he was trying to feign his own health so he would be able to get back to training. "Mother, I'm fine! See! All fine!" Berrypaw replied before placing his paw down and holding back a wince that turned into a scrunching of his muzzle. "S-see, I'm fine, we can g-"

"Berrypaw, you're hurt, I'm not going to stand and let you get worse if its something bad. And if it isn't as bad as I'm thinking, I owe you a day out, but if it is what I'm thinking, I'm not letting you leave" Beewhisker blocked his exit before he could whirl.

Berrypaw let out a groan and sat with a grumble, handing out his paw to Rowanglade. "I'm sure I'm fine, so I'll be enjoying that day out on the moor." He huffed confidently before turning to greet Rowanglade with a flick of his striped tail.
