Like the sun, I may burn fiercely, but it's my fire that warms those I hold dear.

It wasn’t every day that the weather was this nice, especially as leaf-bare was coming to a slow halt, but the crisp air and the warm sunny day was too brilliant to waste on sleeping in the elders’ den. So Sunbear took it upon herself to find a sunny spot outside of the elders’ den to warm up her thick fur.
Glancing around the camp, there was a flat sun-warmed stone that caught the elderly she-cat’s attention. She moved and climbed onto the stone with a sharp breath inward as one of her joint jolted and a dull pain rippled though her leg, however she’d felt much worse before and it usual goes away when she was relaxing.
Sunbear sprawled herself across the stone, her belly warmed comfortably on the smooth stone that was able to hold her still muscular, stubborn frame and then some. She found herself observing the quiet chattering and interaction of the cats in camp, some were born much later than she had joined WindClan, many were now actually and now her name was associated with WindClan instead of ShadowClan. Strange… how time changes things so much.

Heatherpaw had been padding across camp with a bundle of stale moss when the flash of golden-brown fur on the sun warmed stone caught her eye. Her steps slowed. Sunbear wasn’t someone she’d spoken to much. An elder with a history Heatherpaw had only heard in passing, mostly from Barleyswipe, but there was something about the way she sprawled in the sunlight, still solid and strong, that pulled at her curiosity.
She hesitated, shifting the moss, nose twitching at the faint tang of stone warmed by newleaf sun. Eventually she wandered closer, her head tilting as she studied the elder from a respectful distance.
"Do findin' the best spots an Elder thing?" Heatherpaw remarked at last, not quite teasing but certainly testing the waters.
