Fox had decided to take a well needed breath of fresh air, via a pleasant stroll through the homes of the twolegs, some without the scent of cats, some with, but the scents were covered by the mouse that Fox had caught earlier, albeit it was at the northern barn a while back, but he didn't stay very long to eat it there, he would rather eat with company after all.
Soon enough, he found a somewhat sunny and grassy patch between buildings, the sun had just peaked onto the grass and made it warm enough to hide from the chill earlier in the moon, but at least it was melting well, that was for sure.
Fox placed his prey between his paws and placed a paw on top of it as if protecting it from wondering eyes as he leaned down and took a bite from beneath his large white paw. Fox glanced at the passing twolegs, their kits and even other cats chatting and socializing, not a bad view, he thought to himself before deciding it was a good idea to take another bite of the delectably sweet mouse.
It would take the will of twolegs to rip him away from a lovely morning like this.

Ahryndae moved like a shadow between fences and blooming windowsills, her dusky pelt catching what little sunlight filtered through the overhangs of the twoleg homes. Though the morning was still young, the scent of melting frost clung to the air, chased only in part by the warm breath of spring. She had no destination in mind only a hunger for observation.
For conversation... for novelty.
It was the smell that caught her attention first. Not the mouse...though it was fresh enough to be tempting, but the cat. A tom who staked his claim to a good morning like royalty would to a throne. Ahryndae smiled to herself. She stepped forward with an elegant ease, her paws silent against the soft grass. Her golden eyes gleamed as she regarded him from a polite distance, her tail curling with interest.
"You look as though you've had a 'fine' day, lying there as if the world were made just for your leisure. A sunny...large tom..." She remarked with a touch of velvet in her voice. She inclined her head in greeting, gaze lingering on the mouse beneath his paw."A fine catch, but none so filling for your size."
