After patroling and refreshing scentmarks around town, Duke set his eyes on a house not far from the church. He leapt and climbed to an upper part of its roof. Moonlight caught in his grizzled fur until a convenient cloud began to shield the tom.
It had rained earlier, but the night was clear enough for him. Good enough for observation. Whether he only ended up observing the usual night life or something else, it wouldn't be a waste of time.
