Tigerrush and Robinpaw
Introductory lesson
Medicine Cat Den
11
Tigerrush was in the mouth of her den, relaxed with her paws pulled under her in a loafing position and her green eyes closed, though her ears remained perked. She had been up since the dawn patrol had gone out, waiting and listening to see if the rain had any plans of letting up this morning. The gentle white noise of the raindrops hitting the grass and trees around the camp was relaxing and as she continued to listen to life around the camp, she was pleased to hear that everything seemed to be normal. As far as she could tell, there was no sounds of discomfort or pain that she could tell and the pace of camp was the normal pace rather than the rush of an emergency.
The little brown tabby had been mulling about what to do since laying herbs out to dry would be pointless with the rain keeping everything moist and the absence of the sun to hasten to dry. However, Tigerrush had to remember she had an apprentice now so she couldn't exactly just go do whatever she decided at the drop of a whisker now.
However, with her mind made up, all the medicine cat had to do was wait for her apprentice to wake up and be ready for the day.
