Bayflower adored Heatherpaw. She was like a daughter to them. From the feline's observations, it seemed that she had excelled in training in her first two moons and had slowly been getting used to her new duties as a somewhat older apprentice.
Greenleaf was the perfect season for rabbits to be grow up and out and about. So, the voidful feline wanted to teach their apprentice something that was useful in catching plenty of prey along with some other tactics.
The WindClanner found them a place that was warm. Familiar. Somewhere Heatherpaw understood the surroundings of. It would make a good continuation of their training.
"This new hunting technique can be a bit hard to execute with just us. However, I don't think it hurts for us to try the basics and see how you go on our next hunting patrol. How does that sound?"

Heatherpaw’s paws kneaded the ground beneath her as she listened. She wasn’t always sure what to do with Bayflower praise, and their warmth made her chest feel light...and gave her the figets.
"That sounds good. I...I’d like to try it." There was a flicker of something nervous in her tone, but she also didn't want to mess up whatever Bayflower had planned. Her claws were beginning to tear up strands of grass as she sat there before she caught herself fidgeting again.
Smiling up at the black cat, Heatherpaw beamed up at her mentor. "I'll do my best."
