Private Thread Whispers at Dusk

NIGHTWHISPER ShadowClan Warrior

The day had been crisp and fresh, which turned the night cool and damp, for a swamp anyway. Nightwhisper was stalking a frog from behind, letting the mud quiet her pawsteps as she slowly but surely moved closer to it. The frog croaked and one of her curled ears twitched in the silence before she launched herself confidently and slammed her teeth into the frog before it made another sound... aside from her purring as her teeth tasted blood.

The small she-cat lifted herself confidently and shook and mud that might have dappled her mostly black fur, though she knew the mud wouldn't make it that easy for her. She then moved over to the other warrior she had been put on a patrol with, Duskmantle his smoky-blue coat gleaming as the setting sun gleamed against it. No wonder he was changed from Murk to Dusk. She thought to herself before meeting him at his side.

"Have you found anything yet?" She asked through the frog clasped in her teeth. "I think one of the elders will appreciate this" She added, taking a small nod at the frog before shuffling to the young warrior's flank but staying a distance away to keep the space between them as she dropped her frog beneath a layer of ferns to protect it from any other cat or creature that might walk by.
