Moosestar glanced to Palestar as she nodded and swept forth on the great rock, seemingly agreeing sparked by Fawnbriar's suggestion. He realized now that such a question he asked would likely be answered in her announcements.. but it still spouted curiosity. The fact she didn't seem terribly disturbed meant that she either was gaining a good poker face, or that he was simply sick and would return next moon. He would not let himself forget about that tail twitch, though..

As Palestar stepped forth and gave her news; upright, clean, and weakness-free, as usual in effort by each leader, Moosestar nodded in good faith, before stepping forwards himself.

"Prey is similarly running well in ThunderClan, and no sickness, predators, nor death have struck our ranks, however, that is not all for my news. 

I would like to announce that I have appointed young Kestrelswipe to work alongside me, and, StarClan willing, for many moons to come!

However, as I warned last moon, ThunderClan has detected increasing presence of rogues, which have become more and more daring as the moons have passed. I warn cats of all clans to keep their eyes and ears open, for I am unsure how far their influence has, or will, spread."

Moosestar looked upon his own clanmates, particularly Sunstrike, after he spoke his warning. While he guessed that on one paw, this could be considered a weakness for ThunderClan, he considered such a view to be worth it if for the preservation of the clans and their health. 

And if a clan did choose to try and encroach.. he had good faith in his warriors to settle such an error in understanding.

Out with the old - In with the bold

Boldstar left to the top of the Great Rock with the rest of the leaders. Palestar’s announcement was the usual banal recitation of how well things were going. Boldstar had doubts that they had managed to avoid the deaths entirely, however. It wouldn’t make sense for it to have not affected WindClan, too.

Then Moosestar spoke, finally appointing a Deputy. The tom had dragged his paws about it long enough. About time the leadership of his clan be secured. Ah, the announcements of young leaders. Moosestar actually provided actionable information about the goings on in his clan. Thankfully the River should serve to keep the worst of the outsiders at bay, unless they got particularly bold.

WindClan, however, had news almost as interesting as what Boldstar himself had to say. Badgerstar carried away in the belly of a monster was rather exciting.  Fawnstar’s bearing and confidence were solid for one so young to the Rock. He wasn’t sure this would weaken WindClan as much as it might with a less confident new leader.

Boldstar turned green eyes across the gathered cats, gathering himself before he began speaking. ”Yesterday RiverClan managed to solve the mysterious deaths plaguing all of us.”

”Land prey is causing the deaths. Our Medicine Cats found a greenish colored mush in the stomachs of fresh-kill. Following my sudden demise from the same malady.”
