Appearance

Short Description :

A cinnamon she-cat with three white paws, tail tip and grey eyes with a nicked ear

Long Description :

Willowspark is a light reddish-brown she-cat with gray eyes and six toes on her back left foot. The tip of her tail is white, along with her two front paws and one back paw. She has a small nick in her left ear from a small tussle with some bramble bushes as an apprentice.

She was quite small and lean when she was younger, but as she grew, her shoulders became slightly broader. Despite this, she is still a very lean cat, her build contrasting her strength. Her fur is relatively short, being closer to medium length than anything.

Personality

Willowspark is a seemingly energetic and cheerful she-cat that finds herself very stubborn. She’s very talkative, speaking about things that normally don’t have anything to do with the conversation. Her loyalty belongs to her Clan alone, as they are her only Kin.

She wants to interact well with her mother and sister, but has never found the strength within herself, slowly beginning to believe that she is different from the other RiverClan cats.

Alone, she is calm and collected, thinking about her decisions, past, present, and future. She wants to make decisions that will benefit both her and her Clan, as she believes that her birth was not a benefit to RiverClan, but a curse that would haunt them many moons later, both because of her differences and because of a growing belief that her sire was not of RiverClan, since Mudstone did not announce who they were.

History

Key Dates :
  • Born in the Moon of Melting Waters (2020) 131
Full History :

0-6 moons: As a kit, she was raised by Otterwhisker and a couple of Clanmates, being cared for only slightly by her mother, since, during her kit-hood, Mudstone was still recovering from her hunting accident. Though she spent some time with her mother after her recovery, it wouldn’t change the fact that her mother wasn’t the one who raised her.

During her kit-hood she was loud and rambunctious, taking every chance she could to play or cause the smallest bit of trouble. However, she was scolded for being too loud on many occasions, even when it wasn’t harming anycat. She was also scolded many times for interrupting conversations, yet she was only trying to tell others about the things she enjoyed, took interest in, or had done. Because of this, she drew into a shell, finding it hard to tell anything about herself to anycat.

Flashkit also enjoyed hearing stories from the elders, who she visited a lot, but also found herself being scolded by on many occasions. Sometimes she would here stories from her mother, but those stories could not fill the loneliness she felt.

7-12 moons: As an apprentice, Flashpaw was a little more manageable, but her mentor would sometimes have trouble keeping up with her because of all of her energy. She constantly found herself struggling with swimming because of her speed and agility, finding them more useful for running than swimming.

During her training, she excelled in hunting and fighting, her agility good for precise blows and catching speedy fish and other prey. However, her speed wasn’t enough for her. Her dream was to run the fastest in all of the Clans, wondering what it would feel like to run so fast that one could barely see their surroundings. She loved to run, the feeling like nothing else. Whenever she saw a stretch of land, her muscles would twitch, making it almost impossible for her to resisted the urge to run.

Running was the only true joy she had ever had, interacting with cats being troublesome for her since she didn’t think anycat would listen, thinking they would scold her about volume or interrupting a conversation. She would rather enjoy the way the wind blew through her fur, her surroundings flashing before her eyes, and the way she felt so refreshed after a long run.

Of course, as she got older, she grew calmer, tending to enjoy swimming more than running. She still enjoyed running, but she didn’t do it as often as she used to, deciding that her strength and swimming abilities were better than speed and agility. She would leave the running to the WindClan cats.

13-current moons: When she became a warrior, she was named Willowspark for her bright personality and energy, her prefix given to her for her growth and ability to control herself. She changed so much since she was an apprentice, and constantly found herself wondering if she was even the same cat anymore.

She had also gotten better at swimming, her strength now on par with her speed. She found it quite easy to slip through the water, even when the currents were strong. Fishing was now her favorite past time, her fast reflexes coming in handy for it. Excited for the future and wondering what names she would one day carry, she slowly began getting used to her new name, settling into her seemingly new path of life as Willowspark.

  1. “she is different from the other RiverClan cats, simply because of her build and agility compared to those around her.” – This contradicts the below statement in her history “She still enjoyed running, but she didn’t do it as often as she used to, deciding that her strength and swimming abilities were better than speed and agility. She would leave the running to the WindClan cats.”

I would just remove the “she is different from the other RiverClan cats, simply because of her build and agility compared to those around her.” for the easiest fix.

  2. PERSONALITY:
“She wants to interact well with her mother and sister, but has never found the strength within herself, slowly realizing that she wasn’t quite like the rest of the RiverClan cats.” – Powerplay. What makes her so different from RiverClan cats?

“Born after Mudstone’s hunting accident, she was never really acknowledged by her mother, who was settling into life as an elder. She wasn’t really raised by her mother, mostly because her mother needed to heal. Being taken care of by other Clan members, making the distance between them longer than it should have been.” – This should be moved to history. I pulled up Mudstone’s sheet and it states that he was gentle towards her kits, so this wouldn’t make sense. Also, you are free to mention that Otterwhisker looked after her in the nursery, because she would have been in the nursery around Willowspark’s 3-4 moons age. (Otterwhisker would have been in there for her own litter)

    – “She wants to make decisions that will benefit both her and her Clan, as she believes that her birth was not a benefit to RiverClan, but a curse that would haunt them many moons later, as was appropriate, for she could not be anything more than a half-Clan cat.” – What makes her think she’s half Clan? Also, half Clan cats are currently banned. If you can think of a way that she may have thought she was half Clan, like if Mudstone didn’t announce her sire when she was born, then you can let this slide.

    HISTORY:
    – “running that swimming.” – Typo. I think you mean “‘than’ swimming

    – “Running was the only true joy she had ever had, interacting with cats being troublesome for her since it was normally because she did something that was considered improper or wrong.” – What was she doing that was improper or wrong, or is it all in her head?

These are the few things I noticed.
