Open to Join The Aftermath

It’s quiet. Too quiet. Staring down at her paws beneath the shaded willow tree, Willowspark couldn’t help but twitch her tail restlessly. The battlefield had been so loud. There had been so many cats, many of which looked like they had wanted to grieve as soon as they’d seen that their Clanmates weren’t fighting in the clearing anymore. How was ThunderClan doing after the battle? Had they lost more warriors? Were they grieving their dead?

She paused for a moment, sighing. She should have kept her grip on Fallstripe. She should have dug her claws in deeper to keep him from being swept away by the current. But she didn’t. She regretted it. She only wanted to fight for her Clan. She didn’t want to kill a cat.

She looked up slowly. The Willow was great company, but she doubted it would console her. She wanted to talk to somecat. A cat that would understand, somewhat, or maybe just a cat that wouldn’t immediately be mad about her not being happy about the newly acquired Sunningrocks.

Willowspark twitched her tail again, shifting her paws a bit. Her wound hadn’t healed yet, but she’d managed to find a way to come here. Maybe her Clanmates were still too busy celebrating to notice.
