Description :

A rather short plant (standing at only one to one and a half feet tall), wild ginger has a very pungent smell and thick, broad green leaves. During the winter, the plant can appear white — likewise, during the summer, it is easily dried out, and can appear so dark brown it almost looks black.

Properties :

Wild Ginger may be used as a stimulant to rid a queen of an unwanted pregnancy, to stimulate milk production and also may be used to rouse drowsy cats. The roots may be used to aid diarrhea.
