Heatherkit perked up as the large, black form of Bayflower appeared from the warriors' den, her tiny paws bouncing excitedly at the familiar face. "Bayflower!" She chirped, her blue eyes sparkling with recognition. She puffed up her chest proudly as if her being three moons old somehow made her much more important. "Of course, I 'member you! You brought me moss! An’ you’re super nice!"

She gave a playful little hop, her tail swishing behind her as she grinned up at the warrior. "I’m explorin’! I gotta meet all the cats so I know everybody when I’m big, like you!" Heatherkit’s confidence shone through her every word, even as she tilted her head thoughtfully. "Do you wanna come with me? You can show me all the coolest places ‘round camp!"

Her curious nature was already bubbling over, eager to pull Bayflower into her adventure, her tiny paws shuffling with energy, ready to trot off at any moment.

Heatherkit beamed at Bayflower’s purring response, her little chest puffing up further with pride. “Yep! I ‘member everything!” She chirped confidently, her whiskers twitching in excitement.

Her tiny paws shuffled on the ground as she considered Bayflower’s questions, her head tilting from side to side in thought. “Hmm... I wanna meet... the funniest cat in camp!” She declared, her eyes bright with curiosity. "Or we could go to the place with the best view! You know, the one where you can see the whole camp!"

Her tail swished excitedly behind her as she peered up at Bayflower, waiting eagerly for their response. “I bet you know all the good spots!" Heatherkit's enthusiasm radiated off her as she bounced lightly on her paws, starting to circle the dark tom as her eyes took in the sights around her.

Heatherkit's eyes sparkled with delight at Bayflower's praise and playful offer. She wiggled with excitement, her paws barely able to stay still. "The best WindClanner in no time? I'll 'member that you said that!"She chirped, her tail flicking proudly. Bayflower's encouragement only fueled her eagerness to explore.

At the mention of a "badger ride," Heatherkit let out a giggle, her eyes widening with glee. "A badger ride! Oh wow, think I'll slip off? Hope not!" She paused for a moment, trying to decide between meeting the funniest cat or finding the best view. Both sounded so tempting, but after a brief moment of consideration, her decision was made.

"Let’s go see the best view!" She gave a little hop, extra toes wiggling on bigger, awkward paws. "I wanna see all of WindClan! And then maybe after, we can meet the funniest cat!" Heatherkit bounced around Bayflower’s paws, already imagining the high-up spot where she could look over the whole camp.

She stopped in front of Bayflower, her eyes gleaming as he crouched down to allow her a moment to hop up. With a fixed expression of focus on her face, brows furrowed as she carefully climbed up, trying to be extra careful not to prick the tom with her claws. She had extra - and that'd probably hurt. With a less than static smile, she wobbled a bit before settling just behind his shoulders. "Okay! I'm ready, Badgerflower!"

Heatherkit clung tightly to Bayflower's back, her eyes wide with excitement as the tom began to move. "You better catch me if I fall!" Came her teasing jest, though she trusted Bayflower completely. The gentle sway of the warrior's steps made her feel like she was riding the wind.

As they started their journey toward the best view, Heatherkit gazed around the camp, her mind racing with the possibilities of what she might see from up high.

She wriggled slightly to adjust her grip, careful not to prick Bayflower with her extra toes. "I'm gonna tell all the kits that I rode the best badger in the whole clan!" 

The thought of seeing the view from a warrior’s perspective made her chest swell with excitement, and she couldn’t wait to be there. "Do you think we'll see any other animals there? Maybe I can spot a real badger!" Heatherkit’s imagination was already running wild, her curiosity about the world beyond the nursery growing with every step Bayflower took.

Heatherkit giggled at Bayflower's promise. "All the butterflies in the territories? That's a lot! I guess I don’t have to worry then." she chirped, her paws gripping onto Bayflower's fur as the warrior took another step.

When Bayflower asked about what she'd like as an apprentice, Heatherkit paused thoughtfully. "Hmm... I think I’d like hunting! Catching birds and rabbits would be fun. Think my extra toes would be any good at fighting?" She added quickly, not wanting to seem like she couldn't do both. "I bet I'll run so fast I can catch the wind!"

Heatherkit's tail flicked with excitement at the mention of the other kits. She wobbled a little as Bayflower made a playful jump, letting out a delighted squeak but holding on tight.

Her eyes widened at the idea of seeing a butterfly or a beetle. "Oh! I like beetles! They're shiny and fun to chase. Butterflies are fun too - but harder to catch!" Heatherkit's imagination spun with images of bright butterflies and other interesting crawlies moving around them, her curiosity only growing as they got closer to their destination.

Heatherkit’s eyes grew wide as she looked out over the camp from her new, elevated vantage point. It felt like she was perched at the very top of the world! The sights of the camp below, the smells as they lifted to her nostrils, and the leaves - oh they were pretty too. Heatherkit had only dreamed of seeing camp from this angle, and now here she was. With Bayflower hoisting her on their back no less.

"Look at everything from up here!" She gave a little squeak, her tiny tail lashing in excitement. "I can see all the dens, and… oh, there’s Barleyswipe! She looks so tiny!" She giggled softly as she spied her other mother before she disappeared into the Elder's den. Heatherkit tilted her chin down shyly at the dark warrior. “I dunno if I could ever be the leader... but if you insist, Heatherstar says… all cats must go chase butterflies!”

She glanced back at Bayflower, her gaze shining with happiness and a hint of awe."Is this how you see the camp every day?"
