Dawnflurry strode from his den to the Talking Spot. He enjoyed the respite from the recently rainy skies.
"Echobright will lead today's sunhigh patrol," he told the assembled warriors, "Brackenwing will lead the dusk patrol, I'll lead the moonhigh patrol, and Hollyclaw will lead tomorrow's dawn patrol. Redthicket and Duskmantle, you two will organize the hunting patrols."
It hadn't been long since Duskmantle's ceremony, but in Dawnflurry's opinion, Clan life waited for no cat, especially not newly-named warriors.
