Dawnflurry shook off what cold he could as he arrived at the briarful Talking Spot.
"The sunhigh patrol will be led by Ashcloud, the dusk patrol by Hollyclaw, moonhigh patrol by Echobright, and tomorrow's dawn patrol by Sunpool. Sootbounce and Nightwhisper, organize the hunting patrols, and I'll also lead an extra border patrol later today."
His tone remained more solemn than jovial. It still hadn't been that long since Whisperingwind's disturbing demise and the deputy intended to keep security up. "Bear with the repetition: keep your focus, claws, and senses sharp."
