As always since his appointment to the deputy position, Dawnflurry addressed those who'd gathered for their patrol assignments. "Palestar has already volunteered to lead the dawn patrol," he meowed. "I'll lead the sunhigh patrol and the dusk patrol will be led by Hollyclaw."
He kept it simple, and after announcing the moonhigh assignment, had one last thing to say. "I don't need to remind you to pace yourselves," he told them with a playful hint of humor in his tone, "so I won't."
