Despite Coldgaze's formal greeting, Goosesong couldn't help but feel as if he was disturbing the deputy in some way. But this was important, definitely worth the disturbance and judging from Coldgaze's clear distaste for ThunderClan, Goosesong was aware as to some reasons why, ThunderClan and RiverClan have been butting heads since Goosesong could remember, so he wasn't surprised that Coldgaze reserved some hatred towards them.

Goosesong twitched his ears slightly at the question and gave it a thoughtful expressions, pondering on it for a few heartbeats before glancing over at Coldgaze, facing him directly before speaking, not as a method of intimidation but more as a hope of understanding and a sign of respect. "It could very well be" he replied, giving the tip of his black striped tail a few twitches.

"Is there a place you would have in mind?" Goosesong enquired with a light tilt of his head, Goosesong wasn't sure if cats in the main section of camp would be too pleased with news of a trespasser in their clan, even if it was brief and accidental. Leopardrose's carelessness broke the borders of their clans, and the respect and dignity of the code that holds the sanctity of the clans together, her drenched fur was the least she could have gotten as retribution.

Goosesong obediently followed Coldgaze to his den, his paws still steady against the frosty ground as he made his way to Coldgaze's den where it stood near Boldstar's den. Goosesong didn't feel all that worried around Coldgaze, he didn't feel the need to be, Coldgaze was his deputy after all.

Once sat in the privacy of the den, Goosesong sat across from Coldgaze, wrapping his tail formally over his paws and his gaze remained steady and controlled as ever. After all, the report he was about to make was not one that should be taken lightly, and he knew that it wouldn't be taken lightly by Coldgaze of all cats. "As you know, I went on a solo expedition around the territory to see how the river was holding up" he began, twitching one of his ears as if the make sure that nothing was behind him, but there was nothing for Goosesong to hide even if there were curious ears behind him.

"I came across a ThunderClan cat on our territory and escorted her back across the frozen river" He said blankly, but there was a serious note in her voice and his eyes narrowed only slightly. "She was drenched in water and claimed she had chased prey over the river and fell through the ice, so it seems the ice covering the river is much thinner than me and Cottonbright had first thought"

Goosesong let his report silently rest in the air for a moment, flicking his tail to cut through the tension, as he felt it was about to get a lot more tense. "It was Leopardrose, she gave me her name before she was returned to her own territory, thankfully there was no violence involved"
