The clouds reflected unevenly on the surface of the River as Goosesong observed schools of tiny fish darting past. His aqua eyes watching how the rush of the river made his reflection shift his eyes, the bone structure of his face, it screamed out to him as Stoneclaw, as if the older grey tabby had lived on in him. Despite looking more like Willowfall, Stoneclaw would have always been with him, even in death. He couldn't stop himself from resembling his sire.

But Stoneclaw was dead. And Goosesong lived in his memory. The large silver tom let out a sigh through his nose before lapping at the river water, rippling the reflection into somethin that hardly resembled a cat at all until he lifted his head. "You could have lived you know." Goosesong rumbled, flicking his ear as his expression remained stone. "You made things difficult." he added, knowing he wasn't going to recieve an answer. And still he spoke, he hadn't been able to talk much about it, nor would many cats care that much about is problems. Understanding is what he truly needed. He wasn't upset, grief stricken in the typical sense, just... annoyed. 

"The clan could have had a warrior to spare." He added almost silently before his eyes drifted to the water again. He wasn't glad for his fathers death like some others may be, he was there, with the ability to save him, but he died because Goosesong wasn't able to. What warrior did that make him? Stoneclaw was right... Goosesong was pathetic.
