The river flowed smoothly today, for most of Hailstrike’s apprenticeship, she saw it as frozen still, but now, it was moving steadily with fish following the current, mostly. The young warrior then looked upwards, across the river to a set of sun-warmed stones at the edge of the river. Sunningrocks.

"I’m sure ThunderClan has all the prey in the world with those rocks" she said, to herself mostly, as she didn’t intent of being joined, however if someone did want to keep her company she wouldn’t be opposed to the idea. Especially if it was Merryaster or Sturgeonwhisker she loved her siblings dearly and would have loved to be out with all of them again.

Hailstrike dipped her head into the water, lapping up the fresh river water and lifting her head after the refreshing drink, letting out a loud purr as the water was pushed down her throat. What could ruin a day like this.
