Towering larger than most cats, Stagfrost was named for his large, muscular frame with a red seal mink pointed pelt. His deep blue eyes create a smooth contrast from his pelt and his fur is long and well-groomed, as he always makes sure to keep a professional appearance around even cats he doesn’t care much for. The fur on the tip of his tail, the fur on his chest and his muzzle and cheek fur are the color of freshly fallen snow, which contrasts contrasts with the rest of his red pointed pelt, giving him the meaning behind the word frost in his name. |

Personality Stagfrost was a calm and patient tom, admired by his daughter for his steady demeanor and strong sense of duty to his clan. He was deeply loyal to ShadowClan and took pride in his role as a warrior, often doing his best to lead by quiet example rather than words. Despite his stoic nature, he had a soft spot for his family, particularly his daughter Sunbear, whom he admired for her strength and resilience. However, his even-tempered approach often clashed with Scarletsight’s fiery attitude, leading to a strained relationship that he tried, but ultimately failed, to mend. |

Stagfrost was born into ShadowClan to a pair of loyal warriors, his calm and steady nature a reflection of his parents’ personalities. From late kithood, he showed a sense of responsibility and a quiet determination to serve his clan. His parents instilled in him the importance of duty and loyalty, and he carried these values with him throughout his apprenticeship. Unlike many of his peers, Stagfrost was never one for boasting or picking unnecessary fights, he preferred to let his actions speak for themselves. Even though he often stayed in the background, avoiding the spotlight. Stagfrost grew into a skilled warrior, admired by his family for his quiet wisdom and unshakable loyalty to ShadowClan. When Stagfrost met Scarletsight, her boldness intrigued him, though their differences often caused friction. He admired her fierce independence and strong will, though he could never fully understand her need for control and favoritism. As a father, Stagfrost did his best to balance Scarletsight’s harshness by showing warmth and quiet support to their kits. He had a particularly close bond with Sunbear, who took after his steady nature more than her mother’s fiery temperament. While Hawktooth and Bigfoot were rougher around the edges and craved their mother’s approval, Stagfrost offered Sunbear gentle guidance and encouragement. His presence provided a sense of stability in the family, even as tensions between him and Scarletsight simmered beneath the surface. Tragically, Stagfrost’s life was cut short during his kits’ apprenticeship. One day, while patrolling the ShadowClan borders alone, he was attacked by a stray dog that had wandered into their territory. Stagfrost fought bravely, but the dog’s sheer strength overwhelmed him. A nearby patrol arrived just in time to chase the dog off, but the damage had already been done. Stagfrost was severely mauled, and despite his clanmates’ efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after being brought back to camp. His death left a gaping hole in the lives of his kits, especially Sunbear, who had always looked up to her father for strength and guidance. His loss also deepened the rift within the family, as Hawktooth and Bigfoot began to unfairly blame Sunbear for his death, further alienating her from both her brothers and their mother, Scarletsight as she was on a patrol nearby and wasn’t able to make it there in time, thinking that she wasn’t doing the best she could to purposefully cause their sire’s demise.
