With the morning's light snowfall having left the ground frosted, the spotted deputy watched as the day's last hunting patrol entered camp, a decent amount of food, for leafbare, hanging from their jaws. She had been working hard on keeping everyone well fed, without overworking her clan this moon. It meant that there was a decline in the usual amount of border patrols, but things had been peaceful at her clans borders at the moment, so for this strategy would work. To oppose the slight decrease in border patrols, Aspenberry had been taking out more solo patrols. The instant anything suspicious hit her senses she would boost the patrols back to normal, for she was not willing to risk anyone's safety. 

She had most cats gathered around now, and would get tomorrows patrols out of the way before her paws froze to death on the snowy ground. 'I will take dawn patrol with Smallclaw and Fallpaw tomorrow morning while Bayflower takes Basilflame and Shadesleek out to hunt. We won't have a sunhigh patrol tomorrow, instead Rooknose, Pinestep and Doveflight will go out and hunt, taking whoever else is around, and feeling up to it with them. I don't want anyone pushing themselves through the snow when they aren't feeling great. Rest and recovery is just as important as food. In the afternoon I will take out a hunting patrol with Boulderdash and Brighteyes. Cloudflare, please take Breezewing and Bayflower out for the dusk patrol.'
