Dovethorn's ears were flat against her head as she padded into camp. The hunt this morning with Brindlespice and Larchsong had been very successful. The sisters had been very lucky- a young rabbit, a pair of birds, a pair of mice and a young squirrel. Now they were padding back to camp feeling content with their hunt. Now if the weather could just stay like this but not be so wet.
Dovethorn placed the young rabbit on the pile and took a few steps back to shake the wetness from her fur with a huff. Her sisters called for her to join them in a meal, but she merely waved her tail at them as she made her way under an overhang. She wanted to try and dry out a bit so she could fluff her fur back up before she wanted to eat and she reached back to start licking the moisture from her fur with a soft grumble.
