Nettleplume's pale cream pelt stood stark against the damp earth as he led the way out of camp. The morning air was brisk, carrying the scent of thawing ice and the faint stirrings of new growth beneath the soil.
He flicked an ear toward Ambersmudge as she followed, his sharp blue gaze scanning the undergrowth for any signs of the daisy stems he sought. "The frost makes things trickier. New sprouts are fragile this time of year, and if we don’t find them before the next freeze, they’ll be useless."
His tail flicked in a motion for her to spread out as they moved through the territory. "Keep an eye out for small, serrated leaves close to the ground. They won’t be in bloom yet, but they’ll stand out if you know what to look for." He cast her a brief glance, assessing. "Shouldn’t be too hard...unless you need a lesson in plant recognition?" His voice carried its usual dry edge, though the challenge in it was lighthearted.

"Yeah! I gotcha, Nettleplume" she began to pad around the freezing grounds, in search for any plants she could see. The molly's paws are covered with frost and she had to shake them off. Ambersmudge can't help but be curious about the weather; looking up to the sky, she wonders how long the sky will remain clear?
Her eyes kept focus to the grounds, seeing just a couple of grass poking out, no smell of strong herb sprouts with them. This will take awhile- Oh! her eyes widen, spotting couple of healthy looking sprouts. Poking out of a spot with less snow surrounding it. "Found something over here!" the warrior spoke and looked back at the medicine cat. The description of its appearance is: Petals are white, the center is bright yellow. It must be a Daisy plant?

Nettleplume’s ears perked at Ambersmudge’s call, and he padded over briskly, frost crackling beneath his paws. He paused beside her, his eyes narrowing thoughtfully at the plant she’d found.
"Hmm." He leaned down, giving the leaves a gentle prod with his nose before brushing a bit of snow aside with one paw. Straightening up, he gave her a small nod of approval - not overly enthusiastic, but for Nettleplume it was practically glowing praise. "Good eyes. The leaves are what I really need."
He glanced up at the sky with her, as if only now noting the wide, brittle blue above them. "Weather like this doesn’t last. Could be clear for a day, maybe two. We’ll have to gather what we can before the frost creeps back in." He nosed the plant gently, before precisely picking one of the leaves off the stem.
