Despite the days that passed, it seemed that Cinderwisp was still getting a hang of the whole 'deputy' thing. But regardless of what happened. She knew that with Coldstar's support, the molly was capable of her job. And maybe... Just maybe she would be leader one day too. But that was a far off dream. A small number of deputies truly ever got to that point. Most of them were forced to retire before they could get a taste of leadership. But perhaps that was for the best.

At the break of dawn, Cinderwisp had gotten cup to announce the patrols for the day, the molly clearing her throat once all the warriors had arrived. RiverClan wouldn't have apprentices again for a couple moons.

"Nettlesky, Stoneclaw, Briarfang, Mistydawn, Stormsquall and Sturgeonwhisker. I want you six to go on a border patrol by ThunderClan at dusk. Nettlesky will be leading the patrol. Despite the... Calmer relationship we have had with them in the past moon, we can never be too careful." The molly mumbled to herself before turning to the rest of the warriors.

"Thornstrike, Goosesong, Coldstar, Hailstrike and Merryaster. Should Nettleplume need any help with herbs throughout the day, I think it would be a good idea to help him carry herbs if he needs the help. Herbs are plentiful in greenleaf and I am sure that it isn't an easy task to accomplish by oneself. However. If he doesn't need your help, I ask that you guys go on a hunting patrol led by Thornstrike at sunhigh."

"Clamsneeze, Cottonbright, me, Ambersmudge, Ashsong and Mintwhisker will be going on a hunting patrol together led by Clamsneeze right now."

With that, the molly turned to her clanmate, expecting Clamsneeze to lead as the rest of the group dispersed.
