Here we set the scene

The setting sun was the perfect time for the elder to head off for a leisurely stroll. The day wasn't as hot as usual, and Skyeyes found herself wandering to one of her favorite spots in Windclan territory. As hunger began to gnaw at her belly she began searching for some prey, and found her target - a slow, meandering mouse that seemed all too slow to run from her advance. Pleased by her easy catch, she enjoyed herself on the hill - at least until she was cleaning her mouth from the remnants.

The scene was becoming all too common; a deceased cat stilled by the throngs of some unknown killer. Beside her were the bones of her catch, an ill smelling odor began to waft as saliva pooled from her lips as she stilled.
