Sushi

Sushi is a plump, she-cat with long, soft, white fur, splashed with black and ginger calico markings. Her bright green eyes are filled with curiosity, always eager to explore the world around her. She wears a salmon pink collar given to her by her twolegs with a silver bell and a fish shaped tag that has her name written across it in bold lettering, the bell jingling softly as she moves. Her fur is always clean and well groomed, a testament of her soft kittypet life.

Sushi is a kind-hearted and affectionate kittypet, often with boundless curiosity and naivety. She trusts everyone she meets, unaware of any dangers lurking outside of her comfortable home. Her low self-preservation often leads her into the clan territories, as she doesn’t understand the concept of territory or borders. Despite her ignorance of the clans, she’s more focused on making friends than learning about their ways. Sushi’s limitless kindness is both her greatest strength and her biggest vulnerability.

Infancy (0-5 moons):

Sushi was born to a pair of doting kittypet parents in a cozy suburban home. Her twolegs were gentle and loving, ensuring her and her siblings were loved and cared for from the moment they were born. Sushi quickly became the favourite, always snuggling close to her mother and playing with her littermates. Even as a kitten her playful nature and sweet disposition made her twolegs and her family consider her a joy to be around. Her early days were filled with warmth, safety and endless affection, shaping her into the gentle cat she would become.

Though, once her and her littermates were eight week old, her littermates began to disappear one by one, eventually just leaving herself her mother, father and her twolegs in the home she was raised in and she still wonders were her littermates are to this day.

Youth (6-11 moons):

As Sushi grew older, her curiosity blossomed, and she began to explore beyond they safety and warmth of her home, though often not straying far. Her twolegs would let her out into the fenced backyard, where she delighted in chasing butterflies, rolling in the grass, watching birds flit about and watching the fish swim around in the small koi pond that the twolegs made with their strange paws. Despite her ventures, she remained blissfully unaware of the world beyond her little patch of territory. Her limited experiences reinforced her belief that the world was a peaceful and kind place, where all creatures lived in harmony.

At the age of 9 moons, Sushi encountered her first feral cat, a lean tom with a scarred face that wandered into her yard. Instead of being frightened, Sushi approached him with her usual friendliness, offering him her food and trying to befriend the tom. The tom, though surprised by her kindness, warned her of the dangers of the outside world, mentioning mysterious cats in the wild who fought for survival. Sushi, however, dismissed his warnings, convinced that the tom was exaggerating and that all cats could be friends if they tried.

Adulthood (12 moons – Current):

Upon reaching the age of 12 moons, Sushi’s curiosity drove her to venture further from her home. She began to venture into nearby forests and fields, but always returning before nightfall. Her adventures led her to meet various animals and to her, she made friends wherever she went, unaware of the tension her presence could cause among the wild creatures. One day, she stumbled upon the scent markers of a nearby clan, but paid no heed to them, continuing her explorations without understanding the significance of the boundaries she crossed.

Around 19 moons, Sushi had a close encounter with a patrol of warrior cats. The warriors were startled by her presence and initially viewed her as a trespasser, but Sushi’s friendly demeanor and ignorance of clan rules confused them. Though they warned her to stay away, Sushi remained undeterred, believing they simply didn’t understand that she meant no harm. Her repeated appearances near their territory became a point of concern for the clan, who saw her as a trespasser, though Sushi remained blissfully unaware of the growing tension.

Now, Sushi continues her carefree life, often wandering into clan territory without realizing the danger she poses to herself. Her owners have noticed her increased absences and worry about her, but Sushi’s desire to explore and make friends is stronger than her sense of caution. She remains unaware of the true dangers she faces, convinced that her kindness and innocence will protect her from any harm. Though the warrior cats watch her warily, Sushi still believes that one day they’ll see her as a friend, just like everyone else she’s met.
