Redspine was a large red mackerel tabby. His fur was long and his eyes were a shade of copper. He had a muscular build and the red fur along his spine inspired his warrior name.

Personality Redspine would describe himself as bold, adventurous, and audacious. He greatly enjoyed teamwork and bonded with Moorspeck over hunting waterfowl. His favorite prey was goose, a dangerous delicacy that he considered as the ultimate flocking water bird to hunt, though he wouldn’t suggest an attempt to hunt one unless already in a group that could handle it.

Redspine was born Redkit in the Moon of Unnamed Blue (2013), apprenticed as Redpaw in the Moon of Leopard’s Rest (2013), and became a warrior as Redspine in the Moon of Long Sun (2014). As they shared a sire, Redspine was a younger half-sibling of Honeyglow and Frondbristle.
Redspine died of illness from a tooth infection in the Moon of First White (2016), a few moons after the birth of the kits he’d sired with Moorspeck. He would watch proudly from StarClan as they became the warriors Dawnflurry and Cedarfang.
