A ginger classic tabby she-cat with a fluffy tail and green eyes

Piperpaw is a shorthaired ginger tabby cat, with bright green eyes. Her short fur helpful in the wide expanses of Windclan’s moors as her hair does not get caught on brambles, and her fur does not blow into her face with the wind.

Her pelt is a vibrant red with classic tabby swirls. She suspects that this will make it harder for her to hunt during leafbare and newleaf, but perhaps she will blend in with the oranges and yellows of dead foliage. Piperpaw’s eyes are keen, always watching and observant – rarely panicked or flighty.

• Her fluffy tail is a boon both for dealing with kits, but also for providing her with extra warmth during leafbare.

Piperpaw is a shy cat, who prefers to stand back and avoid the spot light. When she is the centre of attention she feels horrible anxiety; her stage fright means that her performance is severely hindered when under scrutiny.

Despite this Piperpaw is a very passionate cat, but it usually manifests in different ways from her peers. She has a quick wit and sharp tongue, which allows her to make up retorts and answers on the spot. Her innate curiosity is often on display with her insatiable appetite for knowledge.

• She will question her peers relentlessly; usually by asking a question, considering the answer for a moment and then continuing her line of thought with various related inquiries. This can be tiring for other cats.

Piperpaw prides herself on being a loyal and kind cat. She doesn’t know it, but her quiet nature hides her strong ambition. Because of this she feels separated from her clan mates. Windclan respect ambition and boldness most of all and she feels that she embodies neither.

• Personally, Piperpaw believes that she is more Riverclan than Windclan. She would never tell anyone about this for fear of being called a traitor or a coward.

Kit: 0-6 moons

Piperkit, despite being a quiet, levelheaded and logical cat didn’t have all that different of a childhood from any other Windclan kit. Her favourite thing to do with her brother would be to race around the nursery to see who could go faster.

As Piperkit got older she enjoyed wandering around camp and learning new things. What better place to do that than the medicine den? The medicine den always had a multitude of herbs to learn about, which kept Piperkit’s insatiable appetite for knowledge slaked. Despite this she was unsure of her relationship to Starclan and even more indecisive as to whether she wanted to pursue the medicine cat journey. Regardless herbs are still a fascinating topic, and she will happily learn all there is to know about them.

Apprentice: 7 moons- Current

Piperpaw was overjoyed to become the medicine cat’s apprentice. It made her feel…normal, and its less stressful and in-the-spotlight than other apprentices. She knows that her clan mates might look at her differently now but hopefully she can be of some use.  She continued hanging around her brother, and is determined to be a loyal, hardworking apprentice.
