An undersized cream classic tabby tom with pale blue eyes

Berrypaw is a short-haired tom with a cream-colored coat marked by classic tabby swirls that ripple across his sides. His fur is sleek and well-kept, highlighting the gentle contrast of his pale markings. He has his mother’s pale blue eyes, bright and clear against the softness of his fur. Slightly smaller than most apprentices his age, although he has more than grown into his oversized paws inherited from his dam. Despite his small stature, he is slowly gaining muscle, hoping the most fit apprentice in the Clan (however outlandish that may be).

Berrypaw could be described as a bit of a jokester from those he is familiar with and those who know him well, his boundless energy that carried him through kithood while he was much more used to the prey in the nursery remaining unmoving for the most part, he is still no less of a hunter, in both ambition and confidence. After growing into his large paws, his stealth is a little more quiet instead of the little cream kit tumbling around in the nursery.

To Berrypaw, a job done quickly is the best way to complete a job, much to the possible chagrin of his clanmates and certainly to the frustration of an old ruddy she-cat that Berrypaw had visited many times before while he was a kit. Although, his short attention span may be a struggle for her long-winded lectures that he only really hears bits and pieces of before his mind travels elsewhere. However, his focus is absolute when it matters to him. If something is interesting or tempting enough, his attention will be locked. Meaning that long lectures would likely go over the young tom’s head if it isn’t important enough to Berrypaw.

Regardless of his loud and boisterous personality, Berrypaw is deeply loving and cares for his clanmates dearly, he cannot bare to see any clanmate sad or hurt without him doing something about it when he is available. While he is noisier than some might prefer, Berrypaw will always offer to sit and listen when it really matters, which might be more than his clanmates could assume.

Kithood:

Born on the 17th day of Leopard’s Rest 2020, this young tom was named after Aspenberry, the WindClan deputy and friend to Beewhisker. Berrykit has a lot of love for his clan even as a kit. He looks up to his Dam, Beewhisker, and his Sire, Bayflower. He believes them to be the most honorable and likeable cats ever and wants to be just like them. Growing up with his sister Cedarkit has made his short life fun and full of wonder. He is always trying to get her to leave the camp with him. Even though he may be smaller than most cats he doesn’t let it bother him and with Cedarkit and the others by his side, he will become the greatest warrior WindClan has ever known.

Apprenticeship:

Berrykit was given the name Berrypaw on the 10th day of the Moon of Running Prey with Breezewing as his mentor. While he hadn’t expected to be given to an older cat, he didn’t complain. He was much more excited to learn everything there was to know about being a strong warrior!
