Myrtlemist was given long, flowing fur from her dame, often taking pride in the fact that it kept herself and others warm on colder nights, but never seemed to neglect a playful complaint about the heat or rain to those who cared to listen.

Her coat is cinnamon and ginger in color, though her body is much paler and closer to white, her legs, tail, ears and face are a much more pigmented tortoiseshell pattern. While her fur is mostly pale, she has additions of white on her face, inner ears and toes as well as a small splash of white on her tail tip.

Myrtlemist’s eyes shine a glimmering sky blue, of which were a stark contrast to the warm hue in her fur. The contrast of which those who she was close to noticed and possibly admired, although regardless of how her Clanmates felt, she was happy to live her life how she felt was right.

As free spirited as Myrtlemist may have been, she also held patience and affection to every cat around her, openly displaying acts of gratitude for the smallest things cats did for her, whether it was joining her on a walk or even bringing her prey when she was in the nursery, to Myrtlemist, everything positive deserved something positive in return. Which is part of the reason she had chosen Hazepounce, an acquaintance of hers, to sire a litter for his consistent kindness and his dutiful natures that pushed him to do things for others. It was a pair that got along unsurprisingly well.

Her kindness extended to her kits, her daughter Orchidkit for the most part, as the tiny tortoiseshell kit gained her mentalities in many ways, and yet she was so different. She just assumed the stars had a funny way of keeping her alive in the clan through a fluffy little kit who would rather share prey with her littermates than burst into a play fight with them.

Myrtlekit began her life surrounded by the love and affection of her mother, Swanstride, her father, Ashstorm, and a single littermate. Myrtlekit was the wilder, more energetic of the two kittens, her sibling being much more reserved and wistful than the more energetic and adventurous, often getting the two of them into sneaky adventures that sometimes included an interesting (but not very long) trip out of camp that resulted in a stern talking to about the safety of the camp and exactly why kits shouldn’t leave it.

The conversation had completely gone over Myrtlekit’s head; however, she decided to refrain from her adventures to keep her cherished sibling out of trouble once more, at least not because of her relentless curiosity.

As an apprentice, she was the first apprentice of a first year warrior (A warrior at the age of 22 moons), and her mentor was not entirely certain how to temper her vibrant personality into something more subdued and gentle. Frequently, though unintentionally, they encouraged her antics instead of reprimanding her. Yet, her relentless spirit continued to captivate her mentor, and her apprentice proceeded smoothly! At least for Myrtlepaw.

Ultimately, Myrtlepaw discovered her tranquility in a friend, Hazepounce, who was far more composed and patient. And, as if he had always meant to, Hazepounce assisted Myrtlepaw in cultivating her own patience and affection.

Upon turning twelve moons old, she received the name Myrtlemist due to her fervor and sincerity, and later decided to bear a litter sired by Hazepounce, believing it was time to aid in the development of ThunderClan. Hazepounce consented to father the litter, proud to perpetuate his own lineage. The courtship resulted in the birth of Orchidkit and two other kits. Orchidkit grew into Orchidflame, a gentle and amiable she-cat whom Myrtlemist couldn’t have been prouder of.

Living her life how she wanted caught her in some trouble with a border crossing rogue, who she fought with viciously, more viciously than some may think due to her kind and affectionate nature, the fight ended in her victory, but not without a scar that marked from behind her shoulder to the last row of ribs.

Tragically, Myrtlemist’s life ended abruptly during a fierce thunderstorm. As she became trapped and disoriented in the heavy downpour, a loud crack echoed above her. Before she could even look up to see what was happening, a tree branch came crashing down and broke her spine, resulting in her instant death. After the storm, she was discovered, and her loved ones gathered at her vigil, cherishing the brightness she had brought into their lives.
