Clan Bans

All Clans

General

  • Names that contain the word ‘Moon’ or ‘Star’: Due to religious significance.
  • Names that contain words outside the cats realm of experience.
  • Part-Rogue/Loner/Kittypet Clan Members: Permitted only when RPed on screen.
  • Loners, Rogues or Kittypets turned Clan Cat: Permitted only when RPed on screen.
  • Mixed Clan Lineages: Permitted only when it happens IC. (Examples include TC x RC Cats)
  • Genetic Chimeras: This condition is incredibly rare.
  • Hyper-rare Genes: Genes of extreme rarity and limited range, as defined below. We reserve the right to modify this list.

Admin Approval Only

  • Names that contain the word ‘Crystal’: Religiously significant as it references the Moonstone.
  • Kits/Apprentices who are named after great cats: The religious connotations of naming a young cat after a great cat is thought to bring the attention of StarClan on them before they are ready. Such names are generally earned. (Includes ‘Lion’, ‘Tiger’, ‘Cheetah’, ‘Jaguar’, ‘Leopard’)

Special

  • CREATED APPRENTICES: Created apprentices will only EVER be arranged in litters by game administrators. Check the applications board if this sort of character is what you want to see if they are available. 
  • CREATED KITS: In favor of creating deep IC Bonds and maintaining an intensive continuity, CoSC is not currently permitted created kits. When kits are available they will appear in the viewer as Adoptable Characters.
  • CREATED QUEENS: CoSC does not permit litters with NPCs parents or litters to have been born in cats histories. We also do not consider Queen to be a rank a cat keeps when it is not raising kits or currently pregnant. In accordance you cannot create a queen.

  • LIVING WARRIORS: Living Warriors in ThunderClan are not currently permitted. (Unless it’s your first character)
  • LIVING NPCS: Living NPC cats are not currently permitted.
  • LIVING ELDERS PRE-EARLY RETIREMENT: Living cats with the Elder rank that are younger than 55 moons.
  • EYE COLOR: Cats with these eye colors not currently permitted.
    • Green
    • Hazel
    • Odd (mismatched)
  • GENETICS: Cats who have these specific genetic markers are not currently permitted.
    • ‘Silvered’ cats (Melanin Inhibitor: I or I,i)

RiverClan

  • LIVING WARRIORS: Living Warriors in RiverClan are not currently permitted. (Unless it’s your first character)
  • LIVING NPCS: Living NPC cats are not currently permitted.
  • LIVING ELDERS: Living cats with the Elder rank are not currently permitted.
  • EYE COLOR: Cats with these eye colors not currently permitted.
    • Green
    • Odd (mismatched)
  • COAT PATTERNS: Cats with these coat patterns are not currently permitted.
    • Ticked
  • FUR TYPES: Cats with these types of fur types are not currently permitted.
    • Longhaired
    • Mid-furred
    • Curly
  • COAT COLORS: Cats with these coat colors are not currently permitted.
    • Blue/Grey
    • Tortie/Torbie biological toms
    • Colorpoint/Mink
  • NAMES: Cats that have names that include “—” are not currently permitted.
    • -song
    • -whisker

WindClan

  • LIVING NPCS: Living NPC cats are not currently permitted.
  • LIVING ELDERS: Living cats with the Elder rank are not currently permitted.
  • EYE COLOR: Cats with these eye colors not currently permitted.
    • Green
  • BODY BUILDS: Cats with these types of body builds are not currently permitted.

  • COAT COLORS: Cats with these coat colors are not currently permitted
    • Colorpoint
    • Tortie/Calico
  • COAT PATTERNS: Cats with these coat patterns are not currently permitted.

ShadowClan

  • LIVING WARRIORS: Living Warriors in ShadowClan are not currently permitted. (Unless it’s your first character)
  • LIVING NPCS: Living NPC cats of all rank are not currently permitted.
  • LIVING ELDERS: Living cats with the Elder rank are not currently permitted.
  • EYE COLOR: Cats with these eye colors not currently permitted.
