The grey tom's pawfalls were becoming heavy. At first he thought that maybe the heat was getting to him, or his hunt catching up to his bones, but Briarstorm barely had time to contemplate before he lapped at his maw. Saliva poured from his lips, and when he found his breathing stalled - he collapsed before seizing painfully. He stilled before his paws touched the camp floor, stomach rising and falling but briefly, shallowly before he breathed no more.
