The day was only beginning - but Coldgaze had just returned to camp. Nodding to the warriors stationed outside he managed to keep the exhaustion out of his posture and headed for the rabbit burrow. As he was about to duck in he hesitated, mentally cursing himself for not assigning patrols the night before. Ah well, it was his job. He should get around to doing that.

Fighting the urge to just disappear into the warren he spun around, and addressed those who were present. "Dawn patrol is will be... Briarfang, Cottonbright, and Mintpaw." It would be wise for the apprentice to get more experience. Maybe Briarfang could instill some daring into Mintpaw... not that Cottonbright was a bad mentor... He shook his head to try and keep his mind on task.

"Thornstrike, Nettlesky and Alderfly will take noon patrol. I want you keeping an eye out for prey and bringing back enough to feed yourself and one other. But, be careful." He felt he probably didn't have to elaborate as to why.

As he turned to head down to his den he paused midstep. Oh. There was also dusk patrol. "I'll take dusk patrol with Bloomfire." She was the only cat remaining. That - and he wanted to keep an eye on her after the fiasco that was Boldstar's situation.

He waited another heartbeat - praying that no one had any additional questions as to his choices.
