Today was a special day. Not only was Brightpaw's graduation close at paw, but he wanted to train on a more somber note. A reflection of cats that had come before him, and where all would gather every moon since long gone ancestors cast the gait heavenward. So far the heat hadn't been too bad, and Cloudflare kept his pace no more than a leisurely trot as they traveled out of camp. Far from camp. When he neared the thicket before entering the sacred clearing, he glanced at his half brother with a smile. "Let's hear the warrior code in its wholeness, Brightpaw!" As an experienced apprentice, rehersing it in its entirety would be as easy as making a nest!
