A sleek grey and white she-cat with odd eyes

Windrustle was a sleek blue-grey she-cat, often resembling a breed close to that of the Russian blue from the old ancestry of her father, a Russian Blue tom that was a wondering loner that her mother requested to sire her litter as a fling. As she had done similar with the litter before, Pigeonwing. Her eyes are two colors at once, while one eye is a pale green while the other is a deep ocean blue. She also had a white patch on her belly, given from her mother.

Windrustle considered herself kind, overall. She always felt willingness to help out with other cats before being asked, even if it may have annoyed her clanmates that often may have been overwhelmed by her affection and insistence on helping others. She was always in a sort of competition with her older sister one way or another, the two always attempting to one-up one another, but deep down, the two did truly care for one another, even if Windrustle showed it more than Pigeonwing did.

Born within the comforting confines of ThunderClan territory as a single kitten, Windkit was often entertained by her older sister, Pigeonwing whilst she was growing up in the nursery. The two were close and wished for a great relationship in the future when the both of them had become warriors.

It was true, to a fault as Windkit grew into Windpaw, then Windrustle, her and her half-sister remained close as they ever could be as they grew, in spite of their contradicting personalities, the sisters knew how to work around one another and when one was frustrated or angry, the other would know how to either avoid her and let her cool off on her own, or go to her and know how to comfort her. Windrustle appreciated Pigeonwing until the day she bared kits.

When Pigeonwing spoke of baring kits, Windrustle took it as a personally attack on their vow to become warriors together and walk through every path of life as a team. Pigeonwing outwardly spat that it was ridiculous to think that way, eventually both went storming off, hurt but not willing to talk to one another for the first time in what seemed like their entire lives.

Pigeonwing’s kits were born, as all kits were, and Pigeonwing was fine and healthy, albeit a little disgruntled after the slightly early kitting. But yet, she had given birth to three healthy kits, her niece, Smallkit, and her nephews Spiderkit and Pebblekit. Who would now be known as Pigeon, Spidertongue and Greypebbles. But Pigeonwing and Windrustle were still… tense to say the least. They weren’t giving each other the silent treatment anymore, but they were no longer their old selves.

After Pigeonwing’s death, a death that came to soon from a sudden bout of greencough, Windrustle offered to take over the last moon of her litter’s time in the nursery with the kindness that she usually tried to display oh too often. She would do so vow that if she had a litter, that she would make sure that she knew the greatness of her bloodline, and make sure that she felt that same connection with Pigeonwing that should have been mended long ago.

However that plan was quick to come to a drastic halt, she gave her try at baring a litter too, if she had a choice in the matter, she would have given her a bird-like name, after Pigeonwing, but she had died just after the birth of her daughter, Skykit. She watched from the stars as Skykit grew to become Skyblossom, and she couldn’t be more proud of the daughter that ThunderClan had raised in her place.
