Warblerfern

A small, longhaired ticked dark grey she-cat with odd eyes

Warblerfern was a very dark gray long furred, she-cat with a black stripe running from the top of her head all the way to her fully black tail. She had one yellow eye and one yellow-green eye caused by dichromia.

Warblerfern was a small she-cat with long legs and a long tail. She was well muscled and lean, and almost always had a cheerful or playful expression on her face.

Warblerfern was a calm, kind, talkative, and rowdy she-cat who hated seeing others moping around instead of getting out of camp for some fun, especially if those cats were young and didn’t have old-cat joints and bones.
When she was a warrior, she loved to tease her son Breezewing. He was so easy to disturb and tease! She loved that her son was so serious, grouchy, and fierce. It reminded her so much of his sire…

But it was so sweet in her opinion how Breezewing treated her, always going out and catching her favorite prey or spending time with her under the guise of “checking to make sure there weren’t any holes in the den walls”.

Kithood

0-6 moons:

Warblerfern was born as Warblerkit to a grieving mother who had lost the cat who was Warblerkit’s sire. Warblerkit didn’t understand back then why her mother was always sad. Born as an only kit, she had no siblings to play with, and cared little whether the other kits wanted to play with her or not. However, she met another kit, a kit whose parents had both passed away, a kit named Talonkit.
She spent as much time as she could with him. Playing with him, talking with him, and always pushing him to get up and do something instead of grumpily moping in the camp.

Apprenticeship

7-12 moons:

Warblerpaw was very excited when she finally became an apprentice. She was so glad that she got to to be apprenticed at the same time as Talonpaw! She loved learning to hunt, and she loved running over the plateau that was most of WindClan territory. Especially when the cat most often by her side was Talonpaw.

Warblerpaw was a quick learner, and was also great at fighting. However, it took her a while to muster up the courage to learn how to fight. She didn’t want to hurt anycat. She didn’t want to make another cat grieve a loved one killed by a cat from another Clan. As a cat with a great imagination, she could easily comprehend how it would feel. She doesn’t want to make somecat suffer like that.

However, with a little encouragement from Talonpaw, she soon regained her confidence and became a warrior alongside him with no issues.

Warriorhood

13-54 Moons:

Warblerpaw became Warblerfern, named such for her energy and kindness. Most of her warriorhood was uneventful, however, she did eventually end up speaking to Talonpaw, then Talongust, about the possibility of maybe having kits together during a few of her later moons.

And so it was that her son Breezewing, then Breezekit, was born. However, Talongust died before he ever met his kit.

Elderhood

55-56 moons:

Warblerfern retired to the elders’ den after a couple moons of Breezewing practically begging her to consider it since, though still energetic, she had old bones and joints, and though she could still fight, it was probably best to retire and pass on peacefully. Which was what she did.
